As an aside, I run a dynasty salary cap league with an auction draft where you sign players to contracts and do other more NFL GM-y type stuff. If people are interested I have the league rules and salary cap spreadsheet templates all ready to go.

Weird, all my leagues are Yahoo. I think the interface is fine. Obviously up for whatever, prefer Yahoo though.

16 team salary cap dynasty auction league would be pretty elite imo. We'd probably be drafting over 300 deep at that point.

I'm in if there is room. I've never done any fantasy anything before, but I think I could be non-******ed at it. No idea tho. I only started watching football last year (well, I watched when I was little until '99) so I'm behind the curve a little.

Wait, I'm not in. I was actually serious that I was hoping you meant basketball. I don't follow any other sports at all (although I've suspiciously watched a ton of Olympics...). So, I mean, I can probably only name ~5 active football players atm (well, probably more, the Manning bros. give me 2 right there I guess) and have no interest to learn the names of any more.

Being a huge fantasy nerd in general, I'm definitely in for the biggest, most dynasty-ish, whatever league as possible. But IME it's a decent idea to cap it at 12 or maybe 14 if some of the league members are going to be more casual players.

Alternatively I'd say just to reduce the roster size for anything over 12 to keep the player pool somewhat reasonable; I played a 14 teamer work league where instead of 2rb 3wr and 4 bench spots we did we did 1rb 2wr 1flex with only 2 bench spots, which was much more manageable for the non-FF nerds.

I only say this because participation is the most important thing IMO, so anything that scares people away is probably counterproductive. Personally I'm up for anything.
