Yes I followed the Pfitzinger 18/55 plan (18 weeks with a peak mileage of 55) last year pretty closely. I'm not sure any marathon plan can be described as fun but I was able to stick with it and not get burned out. You're at a much higher level than me...my goal was 4:15 but I had hydration issues during the race and finished in 4:57. Pfitzinger also has an 18/70 plan you might consider.
Cool, thank you! 70 miles a week sounds kinda unpleasant but I don't think 55 will be enough.
Will probably start training in early August for an October Marathon and then take a couple of weeks off before getting ready for Houston.
