It doesnt go back very far when you do it right - maybe 2".

Do a raw paused squat with 315 with the bar behind your heels. Take a vid directly from the side. Hold the bottom position for a couple seconds if you can.

Let me know how that works out for you. If by some miracle you don't fall, do it again, with the bar over midfoot, and tell me which was easier.

Or just draw the system diagram including the relevant levers, the lifters CoM, the feet, and the bar, and explain what forces involved would be required to stay in balance and not fall backwards.

Yeah, you're right. In the right t shirt at the right angle and with the right posture you might notice pecs, but...

I'll work on it after nationals I think, try to be a bit more aesthetic this summer. I'm flattered you were thinking about them, though!

Fistfight between Cha and KC? Sully darkness vs MGD high life? KC almost two decades younger but Cha got the big deadlift. Squat is a wash but KC getting out benched by quite a margin. I think it would be close but if Cha is allowed to put on the bench shirt and squat suit, he would basically turn Tony Starks into Ironman. Then one bear hug and facesitting would end the high life in an instant.

Thanks! The difference is in the bar path on the descent. You can see I get it too high and rush the last inch a bit towards my toes to correct it. 135 is much smoother.

So yolo'ed it up to try and hit 600 total for the week. Very grindy rep but it kept moving. Celebrated with some curls.

You already have the strength to pull 250 if you get everything right with regards to form imo. Chest up, hips back on the setup, then get your hips to the bar after the bar gets past your knees.
