We are supposed to do regular good mornings which I hate and only feel in my back. I saw the Chinese doing then on atg so I tried them seated. Why do you think they would be bad for your back?

I really should just man up and do rdls

Squeeze your abs a lot harder on all that stuff, and on DLs, squats, etc, basically every lift or movement you do. Squeeze them like your life depends on it.

Im thinking maybe I should pause my press at the bottom. My 1rm is legit equal to like my 4rm...

Push press was pretty easy. Somehow made some sick gains on these going from 195 1rm to this. Widening my stance to my squatting width may have been a big factor. Feeling swole

Yes! It is possible to hit 2 weight and a volume pr and still be completely disappointed in yourself. Back squats have completely tanked for 4 weeks in a row **** me

Dl was ok. I could've gotten the 3rd rep on set 2 but back felt compromised so I backed off and did another single a bit later. Working on staying over the bar a little longer and hitting higher on the thigh w clean pulls. Trying to get the pull a little straighter after the hip contact also

Testing 1rms is gay anyway, I know how strong I am whether I hit the weight on a given day or not. Having said that I'm probably going for a max dl friday

I didn't think I would pr my back squat so I'm disappointed but not acutely. Fs I'm happy enough with the number but form was legit herniation level so I didn't go up.

Happy to get back to wl now. Funny my biggest difficulty with the snatches today was overhead stability so I did some ohs which were actually hard lol.

Press 115x5x2, 95x9 shoulders/back were hella tired already
Ab wheel 15,12,8 or so

Just getting the feel for things again. I concentrated on staying over the bar and jumping backward on my cleans. Im not really sure if th second thing is even good but i always jump a bit forward so getting the feel for jumping back might help me split the difference.

Cleans look good. Only like one rep I saw where you had pronounced hop back. One minute critique: doesn't look like you're completing your pull and fully extending your hips. Cleans look pretty good to me otherwise.

superset 60 kg rdls and snatch high pulls from the hip

Was ok. Last triple I think i could have made but I wasn't confident/felt tired. Shockingly I didnt make it. k. Honestly 70 might even be a pr triple cause i dont do them that much.

As I type it out this looks like way less work than I did. Lots of warmup sets and feeling out positions and pulls but not logworthy numbers

Failed on the 18 or 19th rep I lost count. Legit didn't recover fully for the rest of the workout. Feel pretty good about it, 10lb pr 20 repper and 205+ was almost certainly there if I had done it first

Since last Tuesday I have been doing my own ****. I'll only be able to train tomorrow and Wednesday this week then will start on a new program next Monday.

20 reppers are pretty sweet imo. I like high rep squats a lot in general

Jerk triples alternating in front and btn 135x2, 155x2, 185x2, 195, 205btn, 205x1rep felt off so I said f it and didn't continue, 185x2 btn

195x3 front and 205x3 btn might be prs, I'll have to check. I'm not used to facking lowering this **** anymore . Rack jerk triples are honestly pretty high volume in terms of time under tension. I underestimated how tired I would be after them even though I knew it was a lot of sets.

After looking back the jerks are both prs, and they were easy. It's partially bc I've rarely done triples but ill take it

1 legless rope climb to prove I wasn't a fat n00b, not that hard

Almost hit the 155, lowering them f ed me. I suck at cleans, trying to unsuck. Mainly trouble with straight bar path and maintaining a good solid core after receiving the bar.

Snatches improved as the session progressed. I did a better job on maintaining back angle rather than letting my ass shoot up. Need to work on straighter pull. Speed was poor but that will come with more reps.

Squat was supposed to be 85% 5,5,amrap. Seemed impossible to me and after 2 reps of 265 it def was. My back squat is not exactly inspiring lately.

Snatch balance doubles

Left shoulder was felt unstable on the snatch balances so I cut them short. Jerks were pretty easy but not super precise, pp I was just sloppy.

Damn. One of the hardest workouts I've had since 5x10 squat. Last 2 sets of cleans the first rep was markedly better. I basically just didn't think about the pull and tried to brace like fack. Pull was feeling better so i kinda could. Vids incoming

Cleaned 215 with almost no loss of rigidity
Push press today 145x10, 155x8, 165x6, 175x4, 185x3

Rest was complete **** and I'd be embarrassed to post. Down to 184, lol cutting
