watched this vid a couple days ago and had to ordered this gymnastic rings

contacted them on fb and they charge $1050 for a 3 month coaching program, reviewing vids 3 times a day, working 6 d/w and a bunch of other things. Thats more money than what I care to spend right now, but is definitely interesting.

Will set the tings on the basketball base. But Ive been thinking of adding a higher pullup bar where I can also set the rings. It would be in front of the one I have and eventually will get it done, hopefully sooner than later

Last 2 or 3 reps of the 3rd and 4th sets where not great. Workouts are a lot tougher as expected but I can do better, will definitely redo this cycle when Im done


quick house update, Miguel left for the holidays and didnt return, even asked me for 1/2 a month pay so that he could come back(from nicaragua). I sent him the money and 2 days later he calls me to tell me he wasnt coming back lol

Thank god already found someone for the job, he doesnt know how to do a bunch of things, thats kinda frustrating, so this past few days Ive been working on his house(new guy has a wife and 3 kids, glup ) so had to do a bunch of modifications so that theyre comfortable. COuld be worse

workout was a solid 7.5, didnt do much this week as had a cold and its being raining none stop, happy to be able to put in a good workout after all this days

pure BS was feeling good but muscles got tired real fast, specially the biceps. tbh this past 2 weeks have been crap cause I was sick for a bit and then havent had a day off from work in last 2 weeks with extended hours.

Biceps being affected means form is not good, Im not about to start kidding my self so that I can get to 50 faster than I should. so Im gonna rest 2 days, and redo the test(recording it) to see where Im at and take it from there. If form is crap then Ill put a finger through my ass and start where ever I land.

meh, rested 2 days to do the test and did 31.
TAped a vid but it got cut half way, think I was around the 22nd rep at the time. so tape didnt work completely, still the most important thing for me is form, that I got to see, will upload it anyways, But form is not great, think form is a 6.5 or so, not doing the full range of motion

complete vid will have to wait, that I dont mind cause it really makes no difference for my self
just that it sucks cause taking the test really screws with regular workouts as I have to rest 2 days to take it and 2 days after

anyways got my camera to work, cause every time I tried to tape something it stopped at 29 secs, this was today set 2, after doing 26 fwiw, so last few reps I was deff more tired than if I was fresh to take the test and barely getting to the bar after the 20th

THink I ended doing 28 in this vid, and form is pretty poor, Im going down 6/10th imo and not going up enough at the end, so maybe I should be considering dropping 2 cycles to get my form in order


not gonna lie, its disappointing to see my form and see it so poor, Im still braking my balls giving it my best, but definitely shouldve done this reviews since the beginning, so if this takes longer than expected it takes longer

If someone has any input I would appreciate it

Yep, they look like EVgonnaEV pull-ups.

Check out the whiteboard and look at bustoinhawaii pull-ups. That's the gold standard.

You don't have to take video every time but it's always good to do so perhaps each month or so at least to see what's going on. You may notice something new each time you wanna improve even if you feel your general form is ok.

But, yeah, those aren't even borderline for the whiteboard, they are a no-go there. Which doesn't necessarily mean anything unless you want it to. Even with that ROM you're training something, but it may not carry over completely to full ROM pullups.
