Push Press: 95x5; 115x3; 135x1; 145x1; 155x1; 165x1; 175x1; 185x1; 150x6. 185 was real tough but I haven't done that much in quite a while so I was pretty happy. So happy that I loaded the bar incorrectly for my drop down set. I had 160 on instead of 150. After 2 reps I was thinking this is way too hard when I realized I had 10's on instead of 5's. Doh!

Curl: 70x5; 80x3; 90x1; 100x1; 105x1; 110x1; 115x1; 120x1; 125x1; 100x5. Cheated a little (a lot?) on the 125. Don't think I've ever done as much as 125. Certainly not since I got back into lifting 18 years ago.

Weight: 206. I had a lot of pain in my left shoulder (front delt area) Monday night & yesterday. Felt a little better today but I was still pleasantly surprised to get 220x2 on CG BP. I seriously didn't think there was any way.

Weight: 204. I still had some shoulder pain yesterday but I felt pretty good today. Presses went well but then I started to feel some discomfort during PD's and curls. Next week is a back off week which couldn't come at a better time.

Weight: 204. Today was just one of those days. I didn't even some close on the 185 PP. Curls felt real heavy. I just didn't feel strong today. Not much sleep this weekend may be the reason.

My shoulder was really bothering me Friday night at work after feeling good at the gym. I think the Hammer PD's may be the culprit so I dropped them today. Shoulder feels fine now. I'll be interested to see if the pain comes back tonight at work.

Weight: 203. Squats went well but I felt weak as **** on benches & rows. I just feel run down. I have a vacation at the end of the month. Maybe that will help.

I only had a little shoulder pain on Monday night, much less than I have been having so maybe the pull downs were the problem. I'm going to go back to doing RDL's instead.

Push press: 95x5; 115x3; 135x3; 150x3; 160x3; 170x3. The last rep @ 170 was the longest rep in the history of reps. I almost gave up twice.
RDL: 135x5; 155x3; 175x3; 195x3. Felt good. I'll add a rep every time until I get 5 reps for all 4 sets. Then I'll raise the weight.

*I had to get rescued. Didn't think I needed a spotter, and if the weight went up straight I wouldn't have, but the weight didn't go up straight. On my second rep the bar drifted back and hit the upright. Normally this isn't an issue but the bar got seriously out of alignment and I had to bring the bar down to my chest. No bueno. Luckily there was a another guy in the room who jumped in when I yelled 'help'. Worst case scenario I could have dumped the weight but it was still a situation I don't want to be in again.

Yeah, I've used the rack before when I was using bands or benching off the pins. It was just a dumb ass move on my part. Should have had a spotter even if I thought I didn't need one.

Squats are coming back. PP's are in a holding pattern. CG's were progressing nicely but I've slid back lately. My shoulder issues could be impacting these. That or I'm finally starting to lose the battle with Father Time.
