I'll take snow and cold over rattlesnakes and gators. Glad you're ok.

Is that a dead giant centipede or what was left of the snake carcass after some other nasty creature ate it?

That is what was left of the rattlesnake after 24 hours.

FL is a fun place.

Time to double down and get more focused...

Interesting. The medium weight DLs and squats felt hard, but doubling more than your meet PR on the bench was not hard after DLing and squatting. It looks like your bench is coming around nicely.

I know right? **** it, I will take what i can get. Squat and Dl will be back soon. I think I may have pushing a little too hard just prior to the move/break... so I might look to spend some extra time working in that 85% range on both or at least the DL.

Did this at end of a 14or so hour day...although first rep felt not great, each rep at 545 got faster and stronger. Last rep was relatively easy.

Not bad. 2nd 585 rep easier than the first. Good sign. Lots of life getting in the way of work outs lately...Squat day was up the night before filling a 40yd dumpster...DL day...kid needs...had 30 minutes total to train. 135-495 with no rest between...just load lift load repeat. 3 minutes between work sets.

Dave Meniketti is 63, effortlessly shreds on his 68 paul, sings perfectly, all while running around the stage all night. Guy is amazing.

For lolz, MRI report from two years ago when I was dealing with injury.

The cervical stuff looks pretty bad. Were you getting arm pain?

I live in/with a decent amount of pain. Beyond Aleve, no drugs. At it's worst it can take your breath away but most of the time not too bad. Actually the numb hand thing was the worst.

Yeah, I've lived with hands going numb frequently and arm pain for a long time too. It's never gotten to the point where a neck MRI was recommended, but before I got back into lifting about 8 years ago, I used to wake up with both arms completely numb sometimes. Now it's way less bad.

I basically forced my GP to send me to a specialist...had to get an xray first that came back normal of course, no issues. Then, my wife, who is an ER Nurse, called the DR.s office and spoke to them in whatever secret language is required to get them to listen to me and I got exactly what I wanted a referral and a seated MRI: lumbar, thoracic and cervical.

I have been in pain for years and years. Can't sleep well because of it. It was reassuring to understand that, yes there were legit causes for what I was feeling.

I actually started lifting because of the pain and the fact that my back would go out when I reached too far across my desk to answer the phone.

Best part of all this...I went to good neuro doc with a sports background and he read the report, looked at me...

asked "so...you a power lifter?"

Yep

"keep doing what you're
