Can't remember you saying anything about it, how are you/have you been eating on 5/3/1?

To celebrate TOTP, an Australian hottie:

I've got no diet plan at all... I guess I try to get around 200g of protein, but it's usually more like 150 =\

I'm not even sure what I want to do with my weight atm... I'm like 90kg, prob 20% bf and I've sat around there for the last couple of months I think...

I had a vague plan of shooting for 95kg at the start of the year, but I just don't know if I have the dedication for 4000cal/day or whatever...

lulz. I guess so... I mean, I might be slightly trending upwards, I weigh myself most days I'm in the gym and it is almost always between 90kg and 91kg with the occasional foray into 91.x territory - yesterday I was 91.8 fwiw.

You lbm is about 158 so 150 isn't too bad right? re: protein

Well, I guess it's not that bad...

There are a few things I definitely need some WIM with...

1) Eating more/more protein
2) Do some f*cking mobility work (lately I've been noticing some serious inflexibility, apt, one shoulder and hip lower... I really never should have started watching that sanfrancrossfit dude... )
3) Cardio

Iteration 3, Week 3, Tuesday 11 January 2011

Deadlift
???x20
5x60
5x100
5x120
3x135
"6"x150(WR?)

I forgot my chalk so these were very much like six singles. Meh.

Also decided "I ain't doing jack sh*t" today. Probably not a bad idea in the 3rd week of a cycle I reckon.

You should be better at chins imo. Mayne im biased because they are easily my strong point but I am always amazed looking at what people can bench and press when compared with their chinning strength.

Huh? Are you saying that my bench is better than my chins? That would make me really sad because I hate my bench

Ra_Z,

from experience just being at 20%+ BF is a huge hindrance for chins. I bet Snitch would hammer out 15+ reps ez if he got down to 15% and GTGed some.

Relatively, not really compared to most people.

Soulman makes a good point about the %BF. I can't remember being able to do less than 8 chins so I suppose I have simply always maintained my ability to do them throughout the years whereas the other lifts were new to me when I started lifting.

Seriously I can do more chins than dips. I am weird. Chins are awesome though you should aim to be cranking out sets of 12+ soon imo!

Yah, I meant relatively, because my bench fkn sucks, so my chins must reallllly blow hair ****.

tbh, I'm sure I can do more than 8 chins in a set, I just find that if I do a set to failure, my next set is really f*cked and I can hardly do any, so I've been keeping the sets smaller to keep the total volume higher.

eta: wtf?!? you can do more chins than dips? that can not be right...

You can do more chins than me, and I can bench more than you, and we weigh about the same, so if YOUR chins are bad for yer bench...

+1 to wtf @ more chins than dips

PS hows yer area going in the floods? It seems pretty damn horrific from what we're hearing down here.

Yeah, it is pretty spastic up here atm.

My immediate area is fine, only a few areas under water, but we're fairly isolated... not that it would matter if the roads were open because the CBD is still basically shut down.

However, I think I may have found a dry route to a gym today. Stay tuned.

I can do about the same number of dips as pull ups.

I can do more weighted dips with the 45 lb plate than I can unweighted pullups. So sad . Though I can do more chins than wide gripped pullups, which I guess is pretty standard.

Snitch, just wanted to say that I've been enjoying following your log! And be careful working out in the flood conditions, make sure to dry the equipment off before you use it!

To Soulman, sick chick pic... me want THAT moar!!! ::drool:: She is pretty much perfect IMHO (except for that cloth-type material covering up her womanly charms).

FWIW my bench/pull up numbers are roughly the same as yours.

Actually all of my numbers are roughly the same as yours.

Ohhhh... I really should have clarified that I am doing pullups rather than chinups. I always forget which one is which. Hands outside shoulder width (on the slanted bits of the chinup bar).

That said, I'm fairly sure my chinups and pullups are pretty close in terms of reps.

Pretty std to get 1-3 reps more on chins than pullups since the bicepts are involved. Why do you hate your bicepts bro?

yeah i can't help but think anyone who can do more pullups than chings is doing something wrong? lifting is so weird imo.

Bro(e)s, take it easy, I haven't tried maxing out on either on a long time, I'm just broguessing here. Maybe I'll try a max pulls vs. max chins battle next week on my deload.
