Rooting for Conor, but can't give up free money

Can you translate that into American so I can congratulate/mock you as appropriate.

It's very simple. You just multiply your bet by the odds and that's how much you get back. So $1000 at 1.28 would give $1280 including the initial bet.

Nice work on the bets Codecci and nice Goliathus mouse mat.

So he got a shade under 1/4 on Floyd there? Well done.
08-24-2017 , 12:14 PM
Bet €10,000 to win €12,721.16 (profit €2,721.16 if Floyd wins).
08-24-2017 , 01:25 PM
without some crazy insider info those odds are insane, i wish i wasnt broke

I forgot about artem.
08-25-2017 , 09:48 AM
Artem's going to be his cornerman
08-25-2017 , 12:29 PM
The whole thing is a total farce. A ridiculous and blatant moneygrab that only idiots are going to pay to see. The lead up has been a circus and the event itself is going to be even worse.

Spoiler:
36 hours to go and I can't ****ing wait!!!!!!!
08-25-2017 , 01:52 PM
Conor gets the advantage in keepin' it flowy as well
08-25-2017 , 04:20 PM
I act like I don't care but I'm gonna be steaming this at a cottage with 9 other people who will be trying to convince me not to.

I'm tentative after the PacMan fight, but there are a few pretty exciting outcomes in play here.
08-25-2017 , 08:07 PM
Sometimes I love my job.
Actually most of the time.
08-25-2017 , 08:09 PM
Damn, Conor trolling Floyd by weighing in at 153 then Floyd trolls everyone by cutting to 149 (49-1).

Can't wait to see it.
08-25-2017 , 08:37 PM
One of those is not like the other.
08-26-2017 , 01:48 AM
Guys,

What if Conor actually wins??????
08-26-2017 , 02:13 AM
similar smile to ronda getting holly holmed for a week
08-26-2017 , 03:45 AM
demetrious johnson saying mcgregor is likely to beat mayweather and why

He makes the same points I thought about fighters like canelo would be a harder matchup for him
08-26-2017 , 04:46 AM
If, somehow, the impossible happens and Conor comes out and destroys, where will it rank amongst all time achievements/upsets/historical sporting moments?
08-26-2017 , 05:17 AM
That upset would make alot of people go broke. I can imagine so many people going all in on mayweather with current odds

We get to lol at Floyd and the books. I'm happy with either outcome, f a little money. Worth it iyam.
08-26-2017 , 08:29 AM
so why do some books have such a big liability? did they not move the line quickly enough when it opened at +1500 and everyone and their mom bet on conor?
08-26-2017 , 08:42 AM
El Diablo,

Once in a lifetime wouldn't apply to Conor winning. It'd be a once ever in human history kinda thing.
