I saw that as well. Makes sense. Bigger gloves are a bigger advantage than a drained Conor. I feel like Conor was fine with it as well. I'm sure 147 would be a miserable cut since he added some muscle moving up.
Looks like the reason the Conor Floyd fight is at 154 is because at 147 they would be using 8oz gloves. 154 is 10oz gloves.

yes, they can make up any rules they want, and conor already said floyd can pick the rules/stipulations and he will just show up
Basically yeah, ever since this fight was proposed it was super obvious how it would go. Floyd is going to get every concession he wants and CM/UFC are going to get a dumptruck of cash for 45 minutes (or less) work.
Currently only fight on 214 I'm excited for is JBJ vs Cormier, so Cerrone vs Lawler would be a great addition. Sterling vs Barao is also good, but not wow I need to buy that PPV good.
Cyborg can crushing and Woodley vs Maia is meh, although I'm happy Maia got his shot.
I still can't believe they're doing it. Also RT, those just seem like him working power shots, although he was kinda doing that **** against that other pro boxer. Floyd by TKO seems decent anyway, though.
Yeah, looks like the second part (after the UC bag) is an attempt at body work. Can't see throwing long, looping rear hand uppercuts at Floyd being a good idea considering Floyd's ability to dodge even tight, well thrown uppercuts:
