Re: The sunglasses thread

Just picked up some of these and I love them. Not super trendy, but they are very comfy and the lenses seem great to me.

Re: The sunglasses thread

had a couple pair of Revo sunglasses in college and loved them, maybe $200-ish at the time seemed betetr lenses than maui jim or vuarnet or bolle at the time

stepfather pilot swears by serengetti as do his peers, i havea pair and liked them mostly when i wore contacts especially for everyday use like driving

but now contact lenses drive me crazy so i wear prescription sunglasses and the lenses and tint are def subpar to dedicated high quality sunglasses

but, my prescription sunglasses are sort of rose/amber tinted and make everything look like connecticut in autumn and they make me happy when i wear them, and anyone who's read my posts here for any length f time knows anything that makes me happy is good

oakley threadjack: rare indeed is the person who doesn't look like an idiot wearing any kind of oakleys

it would be nice if sunglasses didn't have their logo on the frame, i don't liek being a walking billboard

Re: The sunglasses thread

saving up for these, a little boring to you guys probably, but i like em

oakley straight jackets

i got prescription lenses so besides oakley and few other brands there arent too many others that i like enought to spend the 300-500 bucks theyll cost and serve all the functions i need them for.

also, does anyone have experience with the asian fit oakley glasses?

aviators are the way to go imo, though like all sunnies, it really depends on the shape of your face.

they look great on just about any chick though, i swear.

I'm 24 and i have the new wayfarers. They are a bit smaller than the original wayfarers, which were way too big for my face.

I just bought a pair of these:

Oakley Square Whiskers - Polarized

I love the look and the feel. Anyone else have a pair and would like to share their thoughts?

Re: The sunglasses thread

Got a big fat head and never really found pairs I liked. I bought a pair of Maui Jim Banyan 412 and love em.

Re: The sunglasses thread

Sunglasses like these are so hideous imo. They are always worn by people with zero style sense, the type who choose to wear those middle-aged hiking sandals and socks on a hot summers day rather than flipflops.

a classic pair of ray-bans like the wayfarer or aviator or any other equivalent brand is always better than cheap futuristic garbage
