Kind of a longshot. Does anyone know what frame Robert Redford is wearing in this classic photo?

Do those look real? I can save like $45 there as opposed to if I bought them straight from Ray Ban. The seller has a 99.4% rating over a 3600 sample size but I know you can get people to pump your rating up so I dunno. Probably will just be safe and buy straight from Ray Ban.
I'd stick to buying them from Ray Ban.

Anyway, i've bought mine got them from vision express (uk).

I just bought the Oakley Nanowire 2.0 which is similar, with Tungsten Iridium polarized lenses. Love'em. And got 30% off as it's discontinued

Anyone have any recommendation on where to get prescription sunglasses? I've needed a new pair of sunglasses anyways, and I recently got an Rx for astigmatism (first time I've ever worn glasses). I really only need the glasses for reading (and honestly not even then) and driving, but since I'll primarily use my sunglasses for driving I thought I should get an Rx pair.

Despite the hate they get, I've always been a fan of Oakleys and I spent a decent amount of $$ on a pair 6 years ago (!!!) and they have lasted me until now. I somehow managed to never lose them, haha.

I saw Oakley offers Rx glasses... anyone know how this works? Any other good brands that offer this?

i like my new kahuna's a real lot, but i have a big head and they are a little tight on me. im thinking about returning / exchanging for something similar.

suggestions?

Every time I put on my old MJ Sports, I remember why I wore them so much, so comfortable.

My RayBan Aviators, are pretty meh. They always seem to be falling off my face.

Look at the Maui Jim Kapena's. http://www.sunglassesgiant.com/majimkasu3.html.

Bit wider than the Kahunas, but similar look. I have a pair after just going to the MJ shop here. They're def for the wider face. I had to bend the arms a touch to make them long enough but no problem.

I thought new wayfarers are actually bigger. If not, I have a smallish face and i don't think most places near me carry new wayfarers but i would really like to get a pair soon.

I second everyone who said Maui Jim. Best pair of sunglasses I have ever owned.

Anyone owned a pair of ic!Berlin sunglasses? I have some ic berlin reading glasses which I like, and the ic!berlin "Sean" in gunmetal frame with brown sand looked pretty good for my facial structure, but I'd already used up my insurance on the reading glasses.

I used to have a great pair of Revos. It was great simply because it was the one model that fit my face. That and it had polarized lenses that were sort of like having x-ray vision in some contexts. Very nice visual quality when on. Discontinued the model now, though.

They were the 3040s, I think, and were Rx-able, too.

i was wondering the same as karak from a few posts back. i need prescription sunglasses too, and oakley is the only brand i know of. dont get me wrong, i like oakleys...a lot....but i dont want to have to spend 450$ on one damn pair. im looking for something that could be used for sports and pretty much everything else id need them for, so if anyone had any suggestions i would appreciate it.

Like I said, the Revo 3040s I had (I think, maybe the 3084s) were prescriptionable. They were about $250 (most of theirs are/were) and the lenses had polarization filters, UVA/B coating, scratch resistance, etc. Fit well, and were about the most wrap-around of all the Rx sunglasses I checked out at the time, plus the lenses were niice. Since that specific model isn't in production anymore, I don't know if you can get Rx lenses for it/them.

Maui Jim were prescriptionable as well
