EDIT: to be clear, anybody on the east coast should be able to do what you said there. i've done that 5-6 times already at windham and hunter (there's a few blacks that go to blues which, if it were at whistler would be from blues to greens).

I know you weren't talking to me but: I woke up at 7:30 and checked the snow report. It said 3 inches overnight. I said "meh, I'll sleep in today". If only I had looked out the freaking window instead of checking my computer I woulda seen it was DUMPING. I woke up later at noon and saw we got a foot. Oh well, I'm crossing my fingers they didn't open the peak today.

took the snowboard out for the first time this year today. sweet powder day.

didin't go fast at all. alpine replay recorded my max speed at 61km/h. ski tracks recorded it at 74.9km/h.

i'm convinced ski tracks sucks.

50 mph on a green is very do able. Like stinky Pete said, just need correct snow and correct wax on your board or ski. But very do able.
