You should report which places are looking like the best to ride as Thanksgiving rolls around. I'll be there then and would really appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I may not end up going unless I drive out myself. A 12 hr. drive there and back solo in the time I have isn't really that optimal. I was really hoping to have someone else drive. I could fly and rent a car maybe. First I had a buddy bail because he is having some $$ issues. Then another friend said him and his buddy wanted to go and was pressing me to get hotel reservations a few times a day the whole last week. All the places around Breck need the full fee up front so told him and his buddy I needed the $$ first and wouldn't cover his ass because I know how he is. He gave me the "we both have tons of money and plan on going, just make reservations" bit for 3 days then after we met to get one person the cash required to make reservations he texted me that they decided to go to Montana in December instead. They are worried about the snow lol. Like Montana is going to be any better 2-3 weeks after they open. All my friends are flakes. If I get a hair up my ass or it dumps hard I may go solo though still. I miss my old stomping grounds.

Anyone skied Kronplatz in the Dolomites or Val Thoren? Have heard good things about the 3 valleys.

3 valleys is sick. Every ski area is interconnected by lift, no need for bus services/whatever.

recommendations for spots in italy? access to bc important.

Dolomites has amazing scenery but I don't think it's well known for its off piste at all.

i'm always down for trips and check this thread occasionally, feel free to pm me or post here if you have anything in mind. definitely more inclined to do something huts/touring/splitboarding/winter camping/etc rather than resorts. hope everyone has a sick ski season!

After I finish up SNE i'm debating taking a solo ski trip somewhere in Europe to relax before i briefly head home to the states for the holidays. I'm only an intermediate skiier so I'm looking for something w a good combo of nightlife/ young people/ not too crazy tough skiing. Any recs?
