What worries me about japan is I ski and have done nearly none off piste. I also get a bit nervous when weather is a bit foggy which seems to be case there a lot.

Anyone get any nice ski/board related presents? My mates flatmate's boyfriend flew over from Malta and surprised her with a brand new pair of powder skis, getting them mounted overnight and heading out today even though its pissing with rain in the village!

A merry Christmas indeed.

love your vids, maybe just make them more sporadically if you're getting bored of carrying the pole/editing them? i've always wondered why you used the pole-mounted cam as opposed to helmet mounted as POV is standard-gocam angle and not nearly as much of a bother on you.

+1 - POV gives alot better feel for the terrain/view/etc. '

New England is finally getting dumped on, so looks like tomorrow will be my first trip out.....should be ~16 inches of fresh powder.

Finally stopped snowing at Mt. Hood, probably had 10-15 feet of snow in the past 3 weeks. Blue skies today and the upper mountain finally opened after what seemed like an eternal closure.

I believe he is on an extended visit. Been snowing all night here in France and expecting more today, hopefully will be blue skies later today or tomorrow to get out and really enjoy it, can hear the avalanche control blasting away at the moment.

how the hell do you afford it toilet, sounds like a pretty sick life dude
In those vid's you post, are the mountains not very steep there? I do love those trees, they look so sick covered in snow like that.

combination of poker money and minimalist lifestyle.
mountains arent super steep. most mountains ive ridden so far are barely higher than 1000m. however yesterday at saporro teine there were plenty of slopes with 30-40 degree pitches.
it will be one of a few rare bluebird days today so i am hiking the peak of niseko.
