Keystone's current park setup. Kudos to the snowmaking and park crew. Great job provided we have yet to have a decent snowfall. I'm over the second jump.

Which app is the blue one that you guys are using? Last season in Whistler I used the one below, but the blue one looks way better! Hidden brag also

Day pass to Woodward at Copper on Google Offers for 29 bucks.

This place is awesome for dialing in tricks. Trampolines, foampit jumps, on hill airbag jumps, etc...

Bought new goggles smiths I/o. They were a bit of a rip off but come with interchangeable lenses and easy release. Thought about getting the Oakley ones but they were a whooping 40 quid more.

Anyone in the UK wanna buy some 115cm Komperdell poles, probably only had 10 days use in total as I bought them when I forgot my ones and was just planning on sitting in the park for the week.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but if anyones interested I'll make a marketplace thread and make it legit, just figure people here are more likely to want them

Men's Super-G today was brilliant, can't wait for the downhill tomorrow! Will miss Sundays events but should catch the skicross in Val Thorens in person if I can drag myself out of the powder for a couple hours!

In saalbach. Resort seems super sick; skied for an hour yesterday afternoon and the snow is good! Runs are really long!

God my technique needs a bit of improvement! Have got two lenses with my goggles but no clue which is for sunny and which for bad light.

What is pretty cool is at the end of the day you can type your ski card number in and it tells you how far you went. Around 21km seems a lot.

I have three lenses. One range polarized for sunny days, a yellow for low light and cloudy days, and an almost clear one with a hint of blue for night riding.

I went to the Anon M1 spherical goggle this year and it is a world of difference over my previous Dragons. The spherical feature really enhances the snow surface.

Most goggles come with 2 lenses now, a polarized one (mirror like finish) and a low light lens.

Here is a good breakdown of goggles and lenses:

Trying to put together a hut trip/avy cert course for Feb in Colorado. For a full hut we will need 20 people. I have about 10 interested. If anyone from the 2p2 community wants to join PM me. Cost for 2 nights and avy cert is 325. Will be an AIARE Level 1 and 2 course over two nights, three days. Could spread a game or two to pass the time in the eve as well...

This is the hut we would like to book due to it's close proximity to hike-able terrain.

First day of the season today, hopefully going to head over and catch some of the World Cup Skicross and get around to see a few old friends, weather is a bit crappy so not too much going on ski wise but hopefully we'll get some nice skiing in as well!

Loads of fog today. Nothing like hurtling down the mountain when you can barely see ahead.

Was the problem that the snow was good up the mountain where you can't see and not at the bottom where you can! My technique a bit better but gonna take a group lesson tommorow so I can turn better. Usually when I go skiing Immense by the end of the week just as I go home!

Does anyone have tips for getting lessons at less than hill rates? I ski Sunshine and they charge $360/half day (3 hours) for private instruction. I tried google but I can't find what I want - just the resorts and information about becoming an instructor.

I would prefer to find someone CSIA certified, but it's not a strict necessity. I got cowboy golf lessons once and went nowhere - was way happier with a CPGA instructor. I think the same would probably be true for skiing.

I ski mostly blue now and I really want to improve my technical abilities since this is my first year living in the mountains. I don't know if it's too ambitious of a goal, but I'd like to be gracefully cruising the double blacks before the end of the year and I don't see that happening with some expert tutelage.
