Re: Ski/Snowboard talk/pics/whatever thread
If you guys are bored or anything, I'm part of the USC ski+snowboard team. Our captain makes some sick video edits of our riding...I think they're sweet but I'm biased: http://www.youtube.com/user/abekislevitz
Heading up to Mammoth this weekend, anybody gonna be there?

Can't argue with the ridiculously small comment, after living in Bozeman for 3+ years, then having to come back to MN, but if you're looking for good riding in the UP/Wisconsin, quit going to Granite Peak. Whitecap Mountains west of Ironwood is a lot cheaper, and has some decent double black runs when there's snow (which is a lot more often than you'd think, lake effect rocks!) But if you can get the time, as it's a bit more of a drive, go to Mt Bohemia in lac LaBelle, MI (North of Houghton, at the tip of the Keweenaw penninsula) All expert terrain, Decent vertical, and a ton of snow. It's kept me sane for the past 7 years since I've last been able to get out west.
This is all assuming you would like a more mountain like experience. If you're just into groomers and terrain parks, disregard the above paragraph and stay at G.P.

i´ve been riding them for four years now. i love them to death. they used to be total pieces of crap, make no mistake, but their bindings are awesome now. feels like a big slipper and no weird pressure points. i´ve got the boards, boots and bindings but i get a deal on it all so i have to use the whole system anyway but i have no complaints (and im not just saying that cause im supposed to)

I was out buying new Ski's, boots + new Phenix ski clothes today.
I bought myself DynaStar Speed Course and Lange 120 Comp World Cup
I was skiing like a lot 3-4 years ago, I miss the slopes so bad. Gonna get back to the slopes and get my azz away from the computer when im not playing.

Re: Ski/Snowboard talk/pics/whatever thread
I had a gift card from xmas for $40 at zoomies, so I went down to pick up some snowboard vids, ended up with 3 snowboard vids, and 1 skate vid. The tightest one, by far, was "forever forum".
Any suggestions for the next time I stock up

"That's It, That's All" is one of the sickest movies I've ever seen. I'd definitely recommend checking that out. I just ordered the Blu-ray version from Amazon on sale.

Re: Ski/Snowboard talk/pics/whatever thread
14in of fresh fluffy powder at Las Vegas Ski yesterday. There's actually some good tree skiing to be had up there. I'm having more fun in the park too now that I've learned how to rail slide and land 360's thanks to a guy who was cool enough to teach me a few weeks ago after I watched him throw some sick tricks and was like "hey he could probably teach me how to do that".

Re: Ski/Snowboard talk/pics/whatever thread
And yeah, That's It That's All is the best snowboard movie ever. Don't bother buying anything else, haha.
