- The entire island of Mauritius. Filthy, full of vomitous eye-jarring Hindu color combinations, disgusting and degraded natural scenery, cops on every corner scratching their nuts, cane fields that look sickly, lots of theft, and superficially obsequious locals who radiate such hate for Westerners that it takes one back to the days of slaves. Ironically, it's talked about as a paradise...

- Eureka, CA...ugly town north of San Fran full of dilapidated buildings, sufferers of Aspergers Syndrome and balding World of Warcraft players with diseased looking girlfriends.

- Seattle - the suburbs directly east of the CBD. The city itself is pretty awful - dark and gloomy, full of freaks, and surrounded by an endlessly depressing cold rainforest. You search in vain for a normal face. This place was the setting for emo vampire movies containing wolf rape. Enough said. But even it has some redeeming qualities, especially the suburbs to the North. Not so between Broadway and 23rd - it's as if all the lifeless, twisted, perverted hipster bearded freakish scum that Seattle could spew out got together with their gay pals and decided to create their own paradise. Avoid at all costs lest you come out a little less human.

Surprised at the Brussels hate ITT, seemed like a decent city to me but I was only there for one night.

Liege seemed really terrible though. Basically the Pittsburgh of Belgium.

Don't understand the hate for DF. I've been there 5 times and would live there if it weren't so far from home. Best people I've ever come across in any ****hole.

Bangkok on the other hand is somewhere that needs torched. I really don't see what people love about any of Thailand apart from maybe Chiang Mai or places with the least tourists but Bangkok is full of the worst scumbags around.

Kirkaldy and Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland, are total ****holes.

By all accounts, Caracas is king of the ****holes.

The fact that anyone could put any American city in the "sh*tholes of the world" category fills me with dread for our future. EVERY city in Asia and Africa and Eastern Europe is infinitely worse than anything in the Western Hemisphere and it's not even close.

Anyone offering a US example should be taken to a real sh*thole and left to die there.
