I thought he was a bad professional in Dallas as well. Late/absent to meetings and the like, never changed his behavior to any degree.

That's why he's blackballed.

Ok - just fact checked myself.

But Cowboys officials acknowledge the behavioral issues that existed with Hardy before Nov. 6 were more pronounced once those photos became public. The number of times he was late to meetings increased. So did reports of him being spotted at bars in downtown Dallas late into the evening in the days leading up to games.

Gregory has a problem with addiction. That's not Hardy's fault.
But there was a growing concern at Valley Ranch that Hardy had become a negative influence on Gregory during the player's rookie season. It's a stretch to say that Hardy took Gregory under his wing, but he certainly didn't provide a positive example of what it takes to be a professional in the league.

That stuff was on top of the more obvious DA issues. He was a poor professional or he'd prbly still have opportunities.

Can anyone make sense of what Weidman was talking about on MMA hour? Saying that he only got the fight at 205 after a 2 hour dinner meeting with Dana in New York where they came to the conclusion that it would be better if Weidman flew over to Vegas and spoke with Lorenzo at his house.

How is Lorenzo able to do anything to get the fight sorted if he's sold the company? Has he agreed to pay Weidman out of his own pocket?

he already had the fight, he wanted to renegotiate his contract.

dana and chris could not agree on a number. chris had never negotiated with dana before and had a better deal with lorenzo cooking before the sale went down. so dana agreed to honor whatever deal chris and lorenzo came up with so chris went to vegas to finish their negotiation.

So you know that dictator/president of chechnya who loves MMA and lots of fighters go hang out with him? Apparently he had some 12 year olds full contact fighting and Fedor called it reprehensible. And apparently this made a lot of people mad including Khabib who blocked Fedor on twitter and some of the presidents thugs who issued vague threats.

And apparently today Fedors 16 year old daughter was attacked and hospitalized.

I was actually wondering who he's going to have handle this matter, Aleksander's Russian Mob friends or Putin's secret police. Maybe even some oligarch's private security team. Things are probably going to get real ugly for the guy(s) that beat up his daughter.

I think Alex may be in prison now, but either way I'm not sure Fedor is a guy I'd want to get on the wrong side of.

Well the other side is crazy radical Chechnya muslims who support the crazy Chechnya dictator. Whom I think is cool with Putin.

But maybe the pawn who actually beat up Fedors daughter ends up dead just to settle things.

Apparently a bunch of guys test levels at ufc 189 were suspicious including Conor, Robbie, and Mendes.

For anyone who wonders what this actually means since it seems many are set on commenting without actually understanding the document.
First, keep in mind that the top 5% of the population has approximately 10 ng/dl of testosterone under the age of 25 (when testosterone is typically highest). This means that that 95% of the population falls below this level, and finding someone above of this range is extremely rare, even varying by only 1-2 ng/dl. Most people are going to have around maybe 3-7 ng/dl total in their system depending on age.
Conor had 34 ng/dl which is 3.4x the level of the top 95% of the population.
Dennis Bermudez had 29 ng/dl which is 2.9x the level of the top 95% of the population
Robbie had 51 ng/dl which is 5.1x the level of the top 95% of the population
Though apparently urine is unreliable for these types of tests so its not 100% certain of anything.

Everyone is on steroids.
10-13-2016 , 05:39 PM
I know everyone's on steroids, but is it not also possible that being an outlier in terms of test levels is a precursor to succeeding in a sport like mma?
10-13-2016 , 05:52 PM
no way
10-13-2016 , 06:04 PM
Why not? I don't know too much about this so sorry if it's an obvious answer.
10-13-2016 , 06:05 PM
they have multiple times more than the top 95%.

Theyre not just like the top 1% they're somewhere in the stratosphere

I'd bet money that almost every MMA fighter started with above average test levels before they started fighting. That said, getting hit in the head seems to not be great for test levels.

That said, I would be 0% shocked if any of those guys were using PEDs.

If the average man has a 6in dick and the top porn stars have 10in dicks, why does Conor have a 20in dick?

Hmmm took a look at the tests and it seems results are in ml while the quote you made is in dl which is 10x so I dont think levels seem to be off, at least to me but I'm not an expert and I might not be reading it right.

"If Aldo gets released today, he isn't signed tomorrow by another major promotion"-Chael

Dude...
10-14-2016 , 10:12 PM
I can't see Aldo actually wanting to be released to fight for another promotion. How much would Bellator really pay him? Nowhere close to what he'd make in the UFC now that he's getting decent pay. I mean maybe theres the tiniest chance he's really so mad he's willing to take a paycut to try and help the UFC's competitor... but yea that'd be ridiculous.

But yea obviously other orgs would want him but don't think they'd be willing to pay him the 500k-1million+ he would get from the UFC.
