At 42 I look more like the before pic than the after. Never took a single juice. My only athletic ability is pretty much lifting weights that have handles afixed though.

Looking good is not particularly hard if that's what you optimize around.

MMA training really doesn't do much for looking good, in the long run it does the opposite as getting hit in the head drops test levels.

The fact that some MMA fighters are jacked is because:
-PEDs
-Good marketing
-Young / high test genetics / significantly above average recovery let's them get away with both training + some body building

I agree. I train maybe 7-8 hours a week and sit at a desk for 40, not like an athlete, and with a lot less cardio than a fighter. I'm only commenting in the context of the ol eyeball test that started this discussion.

Wow Gastelum vs Anderson official

Looks like missing weight 4 times is the best thing to ever happen to Kelvin

I like Gastelum vs Anderson. Maybe if Gastelum wins he'll call out GSP.

So we've stumbled into the creation of a 'jr. middleweight' division to go alongside the 'middleweight' division.

Hopefully Kelvins run of beating up old legends ends like Schaubs.

On another note

wew lad that'd be hilarious and sad at the same time.

so

1) who the **** is colby covington?

2) is that supposed to be a clever photoshop?

3) more importantly, who the **** is colby covington?

Reminds me of Nik Lentz's open letter to BJ. Trying a little too hard.

Dude is 6-1 @ 170 in the UFC, you should know who he is.

i'm supposed to know about some rando in the WW division who beat 4 nobodies and got 2 decision wins over brian barbarena and mike pyle? ok bro
03-16-2017 , 11:04 AM
I don't know why you're so proud of your ignorance. Look at where he is according to this site for example:

http://rankingmma.com/ufc-rankings/welterweight/

He's going to be in the top 15 after his next fight prbly, if it's a win.

Tapology has him 25th including all orgs.
03-16-2017 , 11:09 AM
lol so you're actually doubling down now on the "you're so totally ignorant for not knowing a fighter who isn't even top 15 in WW division"

and all this is beside the point that his tweet really isn't even funny

I mean, you shouldn't if you're a casual fan.

And that's beside the point that you now know his name. The tweet largely accomplished it's goal.

you know i'm a casual fan, so wtf? walk it back bro

and i hope he loses his next fight too, but i'm sure as **** not gonna tune in specially for it
03-16-2017 , 11:19 AM
i know who colby covington is.
03-16-2017 , 11:24 AM
i like the move to 170 for RDA, could be similar effect to KG moving to 185. RDA is all about high volume and gas tank which should get even better with no big cut. he doesn't really have KO power in his hands anyway so he can face heavier guys.

I don't know if this is sarcasm.

Me too, but he prbly won't.

He'd also prbly ragdoll RDA.

Masvidal and Cerrone are #5 and #8 so it shows there is doable fluidity between the divisions.

I'd like to see RDA fight Gunnar or see if Condit would be down.

it's not sarcasm. pretty sure everyone itt knows i'm just some rando casual enthusiast who doesn't actually #trainbro, so when i make a joke about CC (i actually have heard the name, btw), it just seems weird to jump on me like i'm supposed to know when he really is a legit nobody. dont get me wrong my feelings arent hurt or anything, it's just kinda lol

seems like RDA got USADA'd, i'd be surprised if he's relevant at 170. that's why i feel like this callout is pretty weak, and it'd be funny to watch this dude get mashed for speaking up

I didn't really think there were much in the way of casual regs itt. And I was saying you should know his name under that premise - but also in a you should know who Jon Jones is after he beat Bonnar way, like I was saying he's legit. He's going to settle into like #7 or #8 and he has potential to go higher.

He's 29 too (Feb birthday), so he's basically in his prime the next 3-4 years.
