Absolutely, though my feelings are Yoel definitely shouldn't have to fight yet another top 5 contender. He's already beat 3 in a row, I don't think that's ever been done before without getting a title shot. Also read on Reddit about how much Silva has helped the UFC so agree there too.

It would mess up the division more if Silva won though so there is that risk.

Weidman vs Dan Kelly is the fight to make, you're right.

That's only if you're in the business of building him up tho, I'd throw him in there against Jacare and let him fight an easier fight after that presumable loss.

They can still squeeze a few ounces of credibility out of him after the way the last fight ended and it follows the UFC matchmaking hallmark of loser vs loser. Let him fight Rockhold after that follow up W against Kelly/X and he'll officially be shopworn after.

i havent watched/clicked that link yet, but why do i hate mike perry again? i remember him saying something or another maybe in a postfight interview, but idk, totally cant think of what it was

He did say he could communicate to God with a platinum satellite. Maybe its the racist **** his corner said during the Hyun Gyu Lim fight. He didn't say anything, himself, but he refused to even acknowledge it came from his corner because he doesn't snitch on anybody, which we've come to understand as a very Mike Perry response. He's a bro that's gone Super Saiyan, but he's seemed to mellow out just enough to where his craziness is almost endearing.

This is a great idea actually. Have an intercontinental and world championship belt at every weight class. One belt is a joke and old fan favorites can jump to the head of line for title shots whenever they'd like and the other is legit and based on performance and rankings.
