Ariel made a pretty convincing argument for him being a solid #2 due to being undefeated at HW and a juicing jj would give his only loss an asterisk. Plus he still has defenses left to perform.

I've said it before but I wish they would just let them juice and treat it like any other advance in training/nutrition/supliments.

If the B sample is clean the fight is upgraded to a death match.

I wonder how long it took for DC to morn all the cake and fried chicken he has passed on for nothing?
07-07-2016 , 12:59 PM
DC is probably balls deep in a bucket of KFC slathered in frosting right now, and good on him. JBJ managed to **** him over yet again.

No need to be balls deep when face deep will suffice....

If that's true that's a rather quick turn time. I was under the impression (perhaps incorrectly) that would take at least 2 weeks.

Where the actual **** are these takes coming from??

Our current social expectation doesn't allow for the "Steroid Olympics" or "Fully Roided Out Cage Fighting!!!" so as long as there is an expectation that the sport is clean, there has to be someone to manage it.

Wanting DC to have to get in a cage with a dude who's juicing is just insane.
07-07-2016 , 01:20 PM
dude they all juice and always have, get the **** over it

or enjoy all your cancelled ****ing headliners
07-07-2016 , 01:21 PM
so the diaz juice too?

roy nelson?

No, they don't.

Plenty do, almost certainly a majority, but as long as it's not openly accepted, it needs to be regulated. Since the sport would collapse if they just openly embraced it, I'm cool with it.

I bashed USADA for years because of how it treated Floyd and the fact that it didn't actually seem to want to catch anyone, but if they're willing to pop Jones, good on them.

Why would the sport collapse without drug testing? Seems like reebok and usada are doing a good enough job collapsing it on their own as it is

Lol nice.

But realistically, the UFC wouldn't thrive nearly as much and would likely regress if it became a common understanding that everyone was roiding and there was zero testing. It's just not the way "the public" is wired right now.

To be honest, I thought that's why they brought in USADA, because historically, USADA was in the pocket of promoters and I assumed they'd "test without really testing" just like they'd been so good at in Boxing. Oops

Assuming Cormier and Gus are clean, I think they would of beat Jones had he not been on steroids.

I'm fine with calling Cormier better than Jones right now. Because if ya'll remember Jones had the most suspicious T levels of all time around the Cormier fight, so he was using then too obv.

RT,

That's great, but people are focused on this Jon Jones discussion now. We can come back to this and discuss #1 BJ Penn later.
07-07-2016 , 02:13 PM
DW: Cormier definitely fighting, Bisping ruled out, excessive partying.

Please be a 220 lb. catchweight or something close. Hate to see a belt defended on 2 days notice.

RT,

Re: USADA I'm guessing they go out of their way to cater to the promoters paying the bills when it comes to a lot of "inconclusive" results, questionable methods, and medical exceptions. But there's prob a list of basic stuff where if you test positive for it they can't really help you.

That's possible, I hadn't read a ton of things about that but you very likely could be right. USADA's bread and butter used to be the "Retroactive exemption" whereby they'd pop someone and then exempt them after the fact. There is a well documented trail of that.

It's one of the reasons VADA>USADA. VADA reports to state/national athletic commissions, USADA reports to promoters.

Gus! I hope it's not another Cummins or none top 20 guy situation.

Watching some of Jones press conference. lmao this guy.

Chael: Jones, are you denying taking the substance you're accused of, or are you denying knowing it was on the ban list?

Jones: * ugly cry face* ..... Both

lmao
