Apparently Joe Silva's phone has been blowing up with offers to fight. Bisping offered, Gegard offered, and DC even offered to fight at 220 or 225. Curious to see whom they pick if they keep DC on the card.

EDIT:

Just saw this reddit post and it made me laugh. Never thought about that. Jones is arguably a better ****-up than he is a fighter, and he's possibly the MMA GOAT.

Assuming ideal conditions, how feasible is a fight on two days notice + travel + I imagine some media during that time? What % strength would you be? 90%? 70%?

Yeah woke up this morning to this. Pretty damn disappointing. I guess I'll take some solace in the fact that Jones did at least make DC cry again.

****ing Jones. It's weird how there are nooo other LHW fights scheduled on four cards this coming week. I think the best replacement would be Gegard. Although I'm secretly rooting for Bisping to step in and hold two belts at once.

It's possible DC retires before Jon Jones "gets his **** together"

Jon affectively robbed DC a chance to become the GOAT

Can we just let Nate and Conor fight at 205 for the interim title?

So just as Wilder is suing Povetkin for pissing hot and canceling their boxing match, DC can sue Bones assuming his B sample cokes back hot correct?

If so, please win all the money DC

This is 100% likely, and both sides have commented on how long this deal was in the works (although each has said it was for different reasons than testing LDO)

Can we please have UFC 209 in Stockton?

All,

Weird press conference. Sorta pseudo denials of taking anything, but the demeanor and answers give off a vine of them knowing where the screwed up. I dunno maybe preexisting bias, but that's the feeling I got.

Idk. If the only loss he took/takes is a juiced and discredited jones he may have boosted the argument.
07-07-2016 , 12:10 PM
Kinda funny that Jones apologizes then has to hand the mic to his manager to give the denial.

All,

What happens if b sample comes back clean or inconclusive?
07-07-2016 , 12:19 PM
Random thought, aren't Conor and Nate in town?

He might be in the p4p argument but idk about goat. Him beating Jones and then Jones spiraling out of control and into jail would have been pretty convincing though.

Jones is cleared and the fight is rescheduled

IF it's something like coke, I wonder how that would factor in to his recent legal issues. Would that qualify as a violation of some sort?

its not coke -- its a PED
07-07-2016 , 12:32 PM
Adrian,

Coke would be an issue with his probation, but that's not tested for during training, just for the fight.
07-07-2016 , 12:38 PM
MMAFighting says the B test results are expected later today.
07-07-2016 , 12:39 PM
So if it's clean does the fight happen?
