I was thinking of his simple, clean taste. I don't think the Hamilton is too big for him.

The 12 hour counter at the bottom is cool with the hand that's long on one side and short on the other.

The first one of seems fine if you're into the master compressor but for some reason don't want a JLC. The second one looks so damn busy with the exposed calendar wheels and the negative space (is that the term?).

as of late my interest in watches has grown a ton. today i purchased my first, id like to get some opinions on it. 12 diamonds, water proof up to 100 meters, black mother of pearl dial.

I believe that no one should ask for opinions on their watch after they have purchased it.
You already like it enough to buy it so why ask for opinions?

In this thread, I also try to take the stance of not giving my opinion on a watch if somebody has already purchased it.

i'm way less likely to say something negative/critical if the piece is already purchased..

Anyone have any experience buying a Navitimer World?
Been looking around town at Blue ones and average price is about 4500
Just curious if this seemed reasonable or if I should look online.
