Quick off the mark PVN.

Not only is Dan a lead guitar player extraordinaire, he is also a master watch maker.

These are my best watches, couldn't photograph them on my wrist due to lame camera.

Also have a very old TAG Heuer F1 which I use as a beater.

MTG-1000? Hard to tell. I am on-the-fence about the analog g-shocks.

Wearing MIRB Frogman (GW-200MS-1) today.

Just look at this ****ing thing...

It's perfect.

Kari Voutilainen is still pretty obscure and way, way top-shelf for a custom shop. My fear is that by the time I can afford one, he'll get 'discovered' in the meantime when some ******* celebrity is spotted wearing one and the magic of one man, one product will be lost to accommodate scaled up production.

Piping Rock you get the same general 'idea' with rectangular case but a round dial.

A touch on the small side by modern standards where par width is about that of a circa 1984 TV Satellite Dish, but those old Deco'y, enameled Hamiltons are classier than ****. THey were reproduced- there are original period examines and new ones.

I don't care for roman numerals on a watch, but I think I could make an exception:

Voutilainen Masterpiece 6

So far, watchmakers have always used the same type of repeating mechanism. Mechanisms which strike initially the hours then the quarters and then the minutes. A set up which does not allow an easy location when listening at the repeating mechanism.

It is this particular problem which initiated Kari Voutilainen’s thinking in order to develop a new construction able to strike the time like it is read. He has devised a repeating mechanism which sounds the hours, the ten minute interval and then the exact minutes. This unusual and extraordinary watch is the first repeater of this kind.
