I like that Aquatimer alot.

However.....get that stupid signature off the dial. Would look alot better without it.

High end renders are putting the fool on you guys. Looking closer I would say none of that is real except maybe the strap.

Screaming nice watch tho'. I love the IWC's clean layouts with no truncation of numbers or cutouts or angled date windows etc. needed to complete the design.

I agree the signature is a bit of a letdown or the other hand if there's one signature I want on my dive watch it's Jacques ****ing Cousteau's.

snipes - I've sold and bought a bunch of watches on WUS so if you need to quote a ref (people don't like new posters selling watches) I will gladly do so and you can comment in the listing that you have refs

If any of you or know someone looking to move the following watches, let me know..

* Breitling Blackbird (brushed version)
* PAM292 (non 'PIG' model, unless price point is really good on the 'PIG")

I would want all original paperwork, certificates, box, etc to be part of the package.

Thanks

I thought that too but I saved the picture and looked at it and it said it was shot with a Sinarback 75 which is a camera. I'm no expert on all this, though.

Based on the recommendations on the Amazon page, I really feel that no watch besides the Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch is even worth considering anymore.

The comments made me LOL.

Completes my ensemble, November 18, 2010

This review is from: Breguet Classique Complications Tourbillon Messidor Mens Rose Gold Watch 5335BR/42/9W6 (Watch)
After purchasing the The Mountain Three Wolf Moon Short Sleeve Tee, I felt I needed a time piece to complete my ensemble. This watch certainly did the trick. Now when I go to Wal-Mart not only are women who drive ordinary electric scooters throwing themselves at me, women with gold plated scooters are doing the same. This watch has changed my life.

did you check out P.com, i saw a 292M for around $6200 complete and new. gonna be tough finding a brushed BB big date. they hardly come up because owners love them and there's a big demand vs limited supply. have you seen the new BB with the inhouse mov? looks bad-ass but price is 2x of the older model.

p.com = paneristi? Yeah, posted there got a few people hit me up which I'm working through. May even have sub 6, but it isn't new. I didn't see a listing for 6200 for new and complete, but will check again.

Yeah I have seen very few Blackbird's listed around anywhere and I've been scouring for a while now... I may end up just buying it new at some point. I wasn't aware there was a new one, though the Big Date version was 'new' model only difference they started offering it in polished and brushed bracelet.. 2x = 10k? That's absurd.

Hi guys,
I don't know anything about watches but want to buy one. I like something which is not flashy but looks good (not for 40y/o), solid and water resistant oh and backlight so I can see sth at night . I don't want to spend too much: ~200GBP. I kind of like style like this: http://www.thewatchhut.co.uk/Pulsar-...-PF3321X1.html or http://www.watchshop.com/mens-citize...p99931346.html. Any other recommendations? Thx in advance .

Just browsing through websites:
This one looks good too: http://www.watchshop.com/mens-citize...36.html#threed

If you want to get in to automatics, PVN's suggestion of the Seiko SKX779 aka the Seiko Monster is a good place to start.

Alternatives are the Seiko SKX007

Seiko SNM033

Seiko SKZ255

That said, it seems that you are going after analog watches with lots of functions/busy face, in which case I think your choice of Citizen Eco drives are perfectly fine since a reliable mechanical watch with that many functions won't really be in your budget.

I'm not a huge fan of Panerai but I have to say that they have done an excellent job at redefining the look of diver watches. The Panerai look with a focus away from the bezel is iconic now.

That watch on rubber is also ridiculously comfortable. I'd like a 177(titanium manual sandwich dial) on rubber, seems like it would feel just about weightless on me even though it was ~95 grams.

The 305 has been #1 on my want list for a long time.
