It would be a little lame if he has no intention fighting jacare, Romero, weidman, or luke

Win at 185 and make bank - super champ fight vs Lawler/WB at 170 or Dos Anos at 155. Retire unless McGregor looms

Ariel was crying because he has two young kids, his career was on the line and it brought up memories of his family being ****ing ethnically cleansed from Lebanon & he's the bitch, as opposed to the guy who put his career on the line because he broke a story (aka did journalism) an hour before the UFC wanted him to?

Dana is an honest to goodness villain.
06-21-2016 , 07:34 PM
He's a lawyer for the UFC's promotions essentially, an advocate for one side at all times.

The dude is unquestionably charismatic though.

Dana is an excellent shill is what I'm saying.

Dana on Donald Cerrone's complaint about pay

Quote:
*"Now Cerrone at the press conference comes out and says 'I don't know if the UFC loves me if you look at my paycheck. OK, now me and Cerrone are as tight as tight can be. There's a lot of personal stuff with me and Cerrone, too, on the positive side. The kid made over $200,000 on free TV on the co-main event and the gate was $900,000. How much money does Cerrone expect to make on a co-main event?" White said on the "UFC Unfiltered" podcast.

"The kid looked great. Never held a world title and made over $200 grand, co-main event, $900,000 gate, free TV."
Quote:
"Personally and professionally, I love "Cowboy" Cerrone. This day and age, every fighter on Earth, especially when you look at the money that Conor (McGregor), Ronda (Rousey) and some of these people are making out there, it gets crazy. Everybody wants to make a $1 million," White said. *

"Some people get there, some people don't."
and the trademark Dana dig
Quote:
Cerrone is so inconsistent. Cerrone will come out and look like a world beater and then come out and get stopped in the first round by a body shot.

Kirby,

Just a free tv fight with only $900k gate. What do these fighters think? That they're creating billions of dollars of enterprise value or something? Oh wait...

No ****. Free tv? So there is no reebok money rolling in on 4-5 hours of prime exposure? I don't know but I always assumed FS1 pays for the rights? I mean most sporting events are on free tv, not even cable. There is no money except th gates in those contracts?

What is this dude even saying?

Hopefully some stupid Chinese billionaires won't roll in and ruin this fighters paradise the UFC have created....

He's saying I got more money than all of you guys combined and I don't give a **** what you think. As a fighter how pissed would you be right now when you see what Dana and the Fertitas are taking home? I mean we are talking about taking home almost 10x what all of the fighters combined have taken home over the time period. This could be that inflection point the fighters are looking for.

For a long time, Dana was betting more on one hand of blackjack than a lot of guys were taking home in a year...
