He's Conors grappling coach and one of the most cringe worthy human beings of all time. Basically copies everything Conor does

Also called Jones a ***** after some weak ass grappling win. Says he sells out arena's. dresses exactly like Conor, uses all of Conors catch phrases. It's just the most cringe douchey stuff you've ever seen lol.

Yeah, i didn't even get into the non-BJJ stuff, but

-Claims he's the highest paid person on the Bellator roster
-Refused to have a first fight that wasn't a PPV (he's from NY, and they left him off the first ever Bellator MSG card. His first fight still isn't confirmed despite signing months ago)
-Claimed that if he'd been on the card for UFC 209, the arena would have sold out

Shields also out struck Woodley. Which was hilarious.

Be great if Maia could do the same.

Will be hilarious when Danis get schooled for his first fight. I hope bellator feed him to the wolves

"UFC president Dana White has confirmed that star client Conor McGregor has agreed his terms for a boxing rules super-fight with Floyd Mayweather.

"Conor and I have agreed on a deal," White told ESPN.

Though "a bunch of lawyers" are looking over McGregor's agreement, White will present Conor's terms to Mayweather advisor Al Haymon and Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe this week."

"It's either going to happen this year or it's never going to happen at all," White added
Hopefully terms are something like. Listen you goof, UFC promotes it, we take 80% of the revenue, and you can Conor can split the rest 10% & 10%. Oh and you gotta wear Reebok for 5k with no other sponsors.

Releases statement that is basically a facsimile of Conor's words post Diaz-loss

Quote:
“I show up to any rule set- Gi or No Gi and will take my losses like a man. Jake survived a 10 min onslaught of my submissions to beat me in the overtime round by 8 seconds for fastest escape, fair play to him he is a legend. I still believe in myself 100% and this will not define me. You will all swallow your words keep basking in a other mans struggles i'll remember everything.”

Danis screams "douchenozzle" to me.

But if it were up to Woodley to decide, Maia would be the last option. Speaking to ESPN.com, “The Chosen One” is still more inclined to face either Nick Diaz or Georges St-Pierre.

"I think those fights are way more real than you guys realize,” Woodley said of St-Pierre and Diaz. “I was teasing everyone for several weeks, but that wasn't for giggles. Those are realistic options that could make Demian Maia take a back seat for a little bit."
Also said he wouldn't fight Maia for any less than 7 figures.

lol lot of demand for someone who just put on the most boring title fight of all time and has the 2nd least twitter followers of any champ. God I hope Dana whips his cock out and says look you're fighting Maia on fightpass or we're gonna strip you of the title.

Woodley seems so terrible at strategy & negotiation.

He has fought like 4 times in the past 3 years and his last fight was a total snooze fest. Not a very well liked champ in general.

Dana just canceled a fight with GSP vs. Bisping because GSP won't fight till after October. GSP isn't going to suddenly fight in July or August...if he could he'd be fighting Bisping.

Nick Diaz is smoking weed and partying till 4am 24/7 and hasn't fought in years, doesn't appear to be actively training for a fight and likely wouldn't fight for less than 2 million. Not to mention even if Dana would pay him millions...odds are 50/50 he would flake on media or even the fight.

If Woodley had any brains he would start a beef with NATE Diaz and try and angle a fight against him for the belt (makes zero sense but thats how the UFC/WME rolls). On off chance Nate beat him sets up a monster money fight vs Connor for 170 belt.

Beyond that Woodley's best bet would have been to say he needs some time off and wants to fight at the end of 2017...that would at least make GSP feasible.

The fact he keeps saying he wants to fight in July or August means he's going to be getting a new JanSport backpack come August for back to school.

Ferguson was for 155 interim belt.
Woodley would be for 170 champ belt.
Conor and Nate are 1/1 at 170.

It would be a great +EV gamble for UFC/WME, so if you are going to overpay...you overpay to convince Nate to fight and u let Nate skip the line in the hopes you get your dream scenario.

Which is

Nate 170 champ and Conor 155 champ...Nate/Conor NYE PPV.
Conor goes for 3 belts

GSP obviously would make sense for Woodley but he's likely not fighting till end of 2017 if at all.

Nick Diaz makes zero sense

I really wish the media would start calling Tyron Woodley "The Choosy One".
05-17-2017 , 03:11 AM
^nice
05-17-2017 , 03:35 AM
Tyrun The Choosy one Wouldn'tly

What makes his demands even more hilarious is Woodley vs Thomson II is reported at about 250k PPV buys. And that was before he put on the worst title fight in MMA history lol.
05-17-2017 , 04:35 AM
Here's a nice stat; Demian Maia has seven wins over current ranked welterweights which is the same as Woodley, Lawler and Thompson have combined.
05-17-2017 , 04:41 AM
I wish they would have kept Rory so he could have beat a few guys and then embarrassed Woodley again.
05-17-2017 , 03:01 PM
Damn didn't realize one more win and Maia is tied with Bisping for most all time. Cowboy eventually gonna run away with it tho
05-17-2017 , 06:54 PM
Bisping's talking like he's gonna wait for GSP. Him and GSP say they haven't been contacted by the UFC about the cancellation.

They good title fights on their pay-per-views and waiting until November is a significant delay so I understand that. But like I said, we did have a deal so I’d like to speak with the UFC and find out what’s happening. “

“It’s a blessing in disguise because I can’t fight anytime soon. I can’t exercise, I can’t train. My knee is giving me many, many problems. It was doing it in Thailand, it’s still getting no better. . . So long story short, what I’m getting at is I’m not going to be ready to fight anytime soon so again, that’s another reason why this plays into the perfect scenario for me.”
05-17-2017 , 07:22 PM
When Bisping heard the GSP fight was cancelled and he is going to fight Romero in july

Spoiler:
05-17-2017 , 07:25 PM
Also all he did was get his knee's scoped, which is a super routine non invasive surgery which has like 1 month recovery time. Hell Weidman was training 2 weeks after getting his knee's scoped for the Machida fight.

Man how terrible is UFC 212?

If it wasn't for Aldo v Holloway I would likely forget to PVR the card if it was free.

Some ****ty women's fight as a co-main? Get the **** outta here. Belfort v Marquardt? What year does WME think it is?

I used to feel good about buying PPVs and now I feel even better streaming them.
05-18-2017 , 04:42 PM
Numbers on UFCs so far this year

ufc 208 - 200k
ufc 209 - 250k
ufc 210 - 300k
ufc 211 - early estimates 300-350k

UFC 212 will prob do like 150k-200k.

So maybe the UFC is actually trying to make the mayweather fight. If Conor is refusing to fight anyone else this year, the UFC has massive debts to pay and gets bonuses if they meet a certain profit level so they might be super desperate for even a $50 million payday.

Don't think its been posted yet but Dana & Conor both confirm they've reached an agreement for the fight, they just need to get Mayweather to agree. Which was always the hard part, but I think maybe they are willing to try and give/accept reasonable terms with Mayweather.
