if they continue random testing- you're going to have positive results wrecking cards the way injuries have over the last few years. drug use is quite prominent according to TK.

Is the NSAC doing the same random testing on boxers?

Probably just Dana being Dana, but he's said mma has more testing than any other sport, including boxing, the Olympics, etc...never attempted to confirm, so I'm not sure it's true.

Cycling has way way way more testing that MMA.

And is still a full of dopers.


I just assume that everyone (or very nearly everyone) is using something of some sort. You can't train as much or as hard as they do and not.

Pretty sure he mentioned cycling explicitly, so I'll assume like most things he was spouting garbage.

Wanna kinda take a bit back what I said about Sonnen. In his retirement speech he blatant accepts responsibility for nto clearing things with the commission and how that is exactly what he should of done and that falls on him. I appreciate him saying that, and Im glad he was able to have a child after getting of TRT.

The betting market is a lot smaller than you might think, although is has grown a lot the last few years. Half a dozen years ago a typical max bet online would only be hundreds of dollars. Vegas books often times would only have lines for some of the fights and would max out at 500 to a few thousand.

I don't follow the betting like a used to since, as the limits started to increase the lines got a lot sharper but I'm pretty sure it would still be really hard to get serious money down on a fight. 10 years ago we had the same horrible judges doing the same crappy job and they certainly weren't getting paid off big money for their time.

I think the Occam's razor is right here. Many judges have very little knowledge of the sport and no accountability or incentive to not suck. So they take the easy path of being awful at their job and cruise along picking up those paychecks.

Last I read they're pulling him from the card rather than trying to find another replacement opponent.
