I am a fan of both guys, but you are kind of right. As MMA evolves its becomes more like other sports, and wining only matters. While of course everyone wants to win, no one wants to watch garbage like last night, that's not fighting. Some sports fans only look in numbers, stats and W/L which is what basically ruins MMA imo, I like to watch good fights, thats why I started watching, not to see who can win "matches" by exploiting the 10-9 rounds system.

I mean fighting smart is... well fighting smart. I dont expect brawls, **** Machida is one of my favorite fighters, I enjoy watching elusive guys that dont get hit and crush guys when they make mistakes. But weakish leg kicks and jab and jog style strategy's are even worse then lay and pray half the time. It takes a lot more skill to out wrestle someone, control them, defend submissions etc, then it does to do... whatever the **** Clay was trying to do last night.

Also far as Fedor breaking Monsons leg, it wasn't his Femur, obviously, that was just the bad Russian translation of Monson himself post fighting explaining his injury, wearing a cast on the lower part of his leg. It was a fracture but he was only out for 6 weeks. So I guess he wore a cast as a conspiracy to make Fedor looks tough.

Re: EDF MMA/lutte fil Juin 2012

Sorry if I stired up any negativity, didnt intend to. I havent been on here in awhile, last month my BJJ club went down for a tounrnament while I was stuck prawn fishing. The 15 year Judo girl went down to compete in her first BJJ tournament. No one entered her weight class so they tried to give her a gold medal which she declined, and then her dad signed for her to go in Adult lightweight. She only had one match with a 30 year old chick, crushed her and won "gold". Since she won gold she was able to do open weight and ended up winning open weight and in the finals went up against a 170 lbs ****ing chick lol and won a decision.

Cant figure out a embed but this is pretty awesome. Picks up around 1:50. Not the best match BJJ wise but she was outweighed but 70 lbs so not to bad.

Re: EDF MMA/lutte fil Juin 2012

Hmmm heres the thing, I like Rhonda but I actually know Sarah Kaufmann and she said she would be interested in doing a little training with Abby (mentioned girl) to prepare for some of Rhondas Judo. Obviously Abby is tiny but its still good to go over some techniques Rhonda likes to use in the clinch etc.

I have some of her other matchs as well, she armbarred a 140lbs girl that picked her up and dropped her on her head and got DQed to make the finals haha.

Re: EDF MMA/lutte fil Juin 2012

People seem upset that a judge gave Viera a 10-8 in round 1. Not the worst judging I've ever seen, even this month.
