EDFInteresting discussion of any and all topics, including Current Events, Entertainment, Politics, Art & Literature, Career, Hobbies, Lifestyle, Travel, Sports, and Gambling. Posts are expected to be intelligent, interesting, and respectful.
I can't remember the last time I was this disinterested in the recent and upcoming MMA fights. Judging by the lack of posts lately I'm guessing that I'm not the only one.
I've long been critical of UFC's brand-first marketing philosophy, and I would love for this to be some conformation of that, but I'm guessing the weak cards have more to do with luck/variance.
It would be nice though if the UFC could start putting together more interesting fights and highlighting some cool personalities.
The lower post rates have to do more with the downtime than slow mma months. We have had slow months before and something always created pages of discussion. Nike shoes, shooting a double on Floyd Mayweather, Chael Sonnen quotes.
Even during events almost nobody is posting at times. As slow as this seems didn't we just go through a period with no ppv for about two months right before the hacking?
Sonnen better get to it if he hopes to have a chance. Smart move though to release the book before the biggest fight of his life, and before he Silva retires him from the UFC.
