Re: EDF MMA/Fighting May Thread

Dana, for no reason whatsoever, cost himself a really awesome Diaz/ Pettis fight, maybe not a PPV headliner, but would be a great FX of Fox headliner and a solid #2 for a PPV. I suspect they stop doing that in the future.
Thoughts on Hardy/Ludwig? Or Teixeria/ Kingsbury?

teixera has pretty good standup and is a hard hitter that plus he has good bjj, he should be able to win however he wants but he'll prob keep it standing and ko kingsbury .

Re: EDF MMA/Fighting May Thread

Bets UFC on Fox card ever.

LOL @ Paul Harris. Dude got punked so bad by Alan Belcher. Any alleged bjj black belt who gets KOd by a dude in his guard should get demoted back to brown belt.

I am surprised that Pat Barry is alive. Lavar Johnson is one scary dude.

Big ups to Nate Diaz. I think he submits Benson if they fight. I think his reach is enough to neutralize that one super tough midget guy.

Re: EDF MMA/Fighting May Thread

Thanks for the reply Jzo. I tend to agree, but I am wondering if Kingbu's size is an issue. He is really athletic and is listed at 6 4, Teixeria only 5 10. And he has fought much tougher competition, and had a 4 fight UFC winning streak til the Bonnar fight, where he was handled. Where do you think that line opens, and at what price is Teixiera not a good bet iyo?
Also am I crazy for loving Pineda vs old man Mike Brown?

That belt is apparently worth much more than I would have guessed.

it'll bother him a bit , but maldonaldo got a ton of clean strikes on kingsbury and glover is a much harder hitter than maldonaldo is ...fwiw i had maldanaldo beating kingsbury in their fight . eventhough kingsbury's striking has improved he's still very raw , and glover is much more polished / technical at this point .

line will prob come out even , but i would put glover at -175ish
