Diaz was suspended for 12-months retroactive to the date of his bout with Carlos Condit at UFC 143 and also fined 30-percent of his fight purse from the event.

lower tier ufc guys barely get by. It's probably unreasonable to look at this as some kind of career to begin with wesrwood.

Don't know how good you are but the benefit of doing ammy fights could be to build experience in a safer environment. People can get seriously injured if they're in over their head.

Not doing this as a career but obviously as Im older I dont want to go through amateur fights just like I didnt want to wait a 1 or 2 to fight. Ive seen the lower level pro fighters. They arent very good

And if you win you could tell people you had an undefeated amateur career, and that you could have really gone places! I would love to have like a 1-0 pro boxing record or something, just to brag.
