I think they'd just call it "heavyweight" and not have a cap, but I guess it depends on whatever (if any) regulatory bodies are in place. Mostly I think it's just up to the promoters. I went to an event last night where a guy from my gym fought at HW against a dude who should definitely be SHW.
Just tried to call my old gym in Worcester and apparently they closed. So there goes my chance of having someone call on my behalf. Problem is most of the place around here are small so I dont know if they have many connections.
I emailed one promter though. Only shows in state are Reality and Bellator. I know I cant get on a Bellator show. Reality is somewhat big enough where I couldnt just start there too right?
When I moved to MA I weighed between 280-310. I got all the way down to 235-240. Then I moved back to CT and got divorced and had some issues with my jobs. I got really depressed and ballooned back up to 310.
Once I get a fight I can lose the weight pretty fast. Just need to have a reason to lose it
