Gus got FOTN & performance of the night.

Seery vs pickett not getting FOTN is the worst bonus robbery i've ever seen. I feel bad for seery.

After putting Gus vs Man on fight pass they gotta hope that Jones vs Gus rematch (i.e. pretend it was FOTN). I kinda tuned out during Pickett's fight so I don't know how good it was, but Gus probably didn't deserve more than POTN, it wasn't an great fight but a solid finish.

Edit: Manuwa surving the ground actually put some nerve in the fight, so I really enjoyed it, but I don't think it was "objectively" a great fight.

Brad vs Seery was a great fight.

ATT now has two high level flyweights. Pickett proved he can endure the cut and Justin Scoggins in an up and coming beast. He has Wonderboy level striking with a strong grappling game. I am curious what will happen if they both continue to win in such a shallow division.

Everyone will be aware of Scoggins after he beats up Campuzano next week. Probably a good fight to wager on gentlemen.

How can Jones make you happy? A 145er calls him out while he has a fight versus Glover in a few weeks. I think more should be made of DC fans and teammates calling out a champ with a title fight scheduled and a rematch that needs to happen. Let DC get in some work at 205. Glover earned his shot and Gus deserves a rematch. It seems that people create ways to hate Jones when there is no need. He can't fight everybody at once. Plus a washed up 145er should know his place and let DC speak for himself. Cormeir even acknowledged Gus is up next on Twitter.

I know many here hate Jones. At least hate him for legit reasons. Before the Gus fight people said Jones was ducking Glover. It was a real battle so then taking the Glover fight was ducking. Now somehow fighting anyone other than DC is cowardly. Please make up your mind.

I do realize most of the hate comes from people who just want him to lose because they are sick of the attitude. Perfectly understood. Just keep the hate honest and for the right reasons. Piling on to simply pile on just makes haters look petty and dumb.

Man its so incredibly nice to have a top level fighter from Sweden finally! Also he lives in my city and posts images daily on his instagram from where he hangs oout, can def get a pic with him

Anyone watching glory on spike? Crocop is about to fight.

Is this a legit reason to dislike Jones?
Please reply.

Yep. Jones is being a prick as usual, but he is being honest. The guys clamoring for his belt want no part of each other(which makes perfect sense) and Jones is tired of hearing the ducking fights bull****. So he throws a bit of fuel on the fire.

By now Jones has become savvy enough to keep the haters pissed and the fans happy. I am neither. Just like to make money on solid bets and see good violent finishes. Jones has been good for both.

He thinks he's Floyd Mayweather but this isn't boxing...

i like glover a lot but i really really think it's going to go mostly like the rampage bones fight did.

for some reason i'm also doubting glover's tank if it gets to 4/5.

So it's basically like any UFC division ever where the champ can't just sit out if he wants to. Except Jones is not in the situation Anderson was when he had to fight guys like Cote and Maya or GSP when he had to take on the likes of Dan Hardy. Jones actually has legit opponents lined up right now.

What's stupid is saying Cormier hasn't fought top level competition. Cormier could get a title shot right now and he'd be well deserving of it. The only problem is Jones has too many legit opponents so Cormier has to wait.

So yeah, Jones is just being a whiny prick, which is pretty much par for the course.

I think Glover is a lot more of a live dog then people think as well. Jones reach is going to be the main problem, but the one awesome thing Glover has is aggressiveness and heavy hands. I will be shocked if he doesnt really go after Jones. That said Jones will probably take him down because of that. Glover is ****ing good on top, and one really nice tool he has is a killer guillotine so I would never count him out. If he doesnt catch Jon in 2 rounds though hes a write off.

It isn't about who Jones is fighting next, it's about Jones saying Cormier hasn't fought anyone and doesn't deserve to fight Jones. Cormier has a bunch of top level wins, is the #2 or #3 HW in the world, and Jones has been fighting guys like Chael & Vitor.

Why do people think Glover has bad cardio? He's looked pretty fresh in the 3rd round against Rampage and John Hacklemen has said Glover has incredible cardio and absolutely loves strength and conditioning.

Also while Glover & Rampage share similarities in being being, strong, and relatively slow, they fight completely differently. Rampage is mostly a passive counter fighter which is death against a guy with a foot of reach on you. Glover however is an in your face pressure fighter.

I'd agree with C_C that he's more of a live dog than people think.

Jones has shown no weakness against aggressive and imo more dangerous fighters in Belfort and Shogun. Iirc Belfort was barely able to land anything despite his speed and Glover is just so slow. The only time Jones has struggled is against fighters who are more elusive like Machida and Gus. Glover's top game is a non-factor since he will never get Jones down so I think his only chance of winning is landing one of his big punches and the chance of that happening is probably accurately reflected in the current odds (+600).

Lawler upsetting Hendricks at +400 looks more interesting to me.

Lawler's run of three wins to a title shot after a loss to lorenz larkin isn't that impressive. Having said that he had looked great.

Gus showed how to beat Jones so that's huge for Glover.
