If your shirt fits you, you should have minimal to no bunching. Therefore, try a European extra slim (compare the measurements of your shirts now to these shirts to see if there's a difference) or get a MTM shirt or a tailored shirt.

Pretty good Uniqlo sale this week.

Anyone in NYC want to proxy the linen shirt for me on Tuesday and the linen jacket on Thursday? Willing to cover all costs + shipping + a few bucks for your time.

They don't sell online? Would really like that linen blazer for that price.

me neither. but 90% of the stuff is manufactured in f china. that explains the ridiculous prices.

they'll have to either increase production and the quantity of fabrics ordered to meet demand which will lower quality or raise their prices.

tadashi yanai is really big on the relationship employees have with customers which is one of the likely reasons they haven't gotten into e-commerce in the us. i'm sure in time there will be an online store along with more store locations in major metro areas.

Re: EDF Fashion (and Fashion Deals) Thread

i mean, if it costs "x" to make a 20 dollar linen blazer, what part of increasing your scale would make it cost more than 10x to make 10 linen blazers? usually as you scale up, your per-unit costs go down. if they have a really labor intensive process i could see how their costs might not drop MUCH, but i wouldn't expect them to go up. but i am no expert.

anyway, stupid tangent, i am obv just mad that i can't buy chinese-american apparel on the interwebs.

My suit is stained quite badly with what is probably some sort of alcohol. Will it matter if I wait a week or so to get it cleaned or should I really do it as soon as possible?

Re: EDF Fashion (and Fashion Deals) Thread

waiting isn't going to help

BTW I just raped brooks brothers this weekend, 40% off a lot of stuff. If you need like no-iron shirts (and who doesn't) now is the best time to buy.

Re: EDF Fashion (and Fashion Deals) Thread

speaking of no-iron shirts

i may get ridiculed for this, but i've got a bunch of lands end no-iron shirts and i really like them. they go on sale pretty often for less than 20 bucks and i just load up. the fit is a little bulky, but i'm kinda fat, so it works.

a bunch of their patterns are terrible but they have a few that are pretty nice.

Re: EDF Fashion (and Fashion Deals) Thread

If you're lurking this thread or whatever: Here is some science

No-iron(or wrinkle free, whatever) shirts or get the **** out. I really don't care if some forum all star comes in here and trashes me for not wearing freshly pressed Kiton shirts every day. No iron shirts are the greatest thing to happen to men's clothing ever.

Regular shirts should be banned
