Looks nice, good move on removing the chest pockets.

How tall are you? length looks nice, good call on adding 1". Does that include lengthening the sleeves?

You look like a young Denzel in that jacket.

pvn,

Sleeve length wasn't modified. I'm 5'10" but have a 6'2" wingspan so I'd imagine most people my size would find the sleeves touch too long.

Some nice deals at Unionmade.
Green Merz b. Schwanen henley in all sizes for $61: http://unionmadegoods.com/product/me...enley-in-army/.
I have this blue Homespun Henley that is available in medium and extra large for $76 and I love it as I do most Homespun. This is a lighter weight henley than others I have from Homespun, which I like to have some variety. http://unionmadegoods.com/product/ho...ley-in-indigo/

Got some new kicks. These Nike x Undercover Gyakusou Lunarepic low flyknit 2s are still available on sale in sizes 8.5, 9 and 10. Use code extra15. Very comfortable if you size up half a size.

And I finally got a pair of green shoes with these adidas Gazelle.

I got a pair of green shell cordovan boots once, but I couldn't get over the feeling I looked like The Joker.

Yes. Here's another look. They cost less than $50, so why not? I think that's pretty much a normal sale price on them. The fit is true to sneaker size. Tongue is made of some strange foam material that seems cheap and a bit awkward, but it's fine. I'm sure the quality isn't there all around compared to my other sneakers, but I'm not going to be wearing green sneakers more than once every few weeks. Though I do have some green shirts and jackets. I like to wear green. Goes with my eyes.

Good ebay deal on my favorite jacket in medium for $599 (and could offer less), the LVC leather (more like suede) jacket worn by Bond in Skyfall.

Gaddy,

I'm loving the Nike x Undercover Gyakusou Lunarepic low flyknit 2s. Missed the boat though. I can't find them anywhere in my size.

Tell me about it, too much of the stuff I like is unavailable. I see Mr Porter has it in a few sizes, but I assume not yours. I've been trying to find this Officine Generale liam green suede jacket in small for more than a year, and have never seen it available new or secondhand in any size.

Unionmade has 20% off final sale prices right now. There's small Merz b. Schwanen henleys in green and charcoal for just $48.80 plus tax and shipping. Heck of a price for them, though Merz fits slim so S is more XS.

I say size up half a size on your normal sneaker size.

Those Boosts are 👌.

Quite happy they're not as hard to find for a decent price recently.

I'd say they fit pretty true to size though. I accidentally bought a half size too small last time. They're a little tight, but still comfy as hell.

The silver pack retailed for $200 but are sold out. I got them worn once off grailed for $190 shipped. My normal shoe size is 8.5 for dress, 9 for sneakers. I tried on ultra boosts in 9 and they fit tight. My big toe was showing poking into the mesh. So sized up to 9.5. That's the same size I wear in the Nike flyknit lunarepics posted above, though in the adidas Gazelles I took 9.

I had to get a new suit since I changed shape for the better and have not needed one for a while. The company I work for is based in Texas and I got turned around on the cowboy boot with suit look due to that and appreciation for the extra inch of height it gives me as a shorty.

I have a pair of black cherry lucchese boots https://www.lucchese.com/shop/boots/carson/M1021.R4 that I plan to wear with the new charcoal suit but I am having trouble finding a belt to match that isn't too coyboy costumey. The boots look more black than cherry in the shade and the red comes out in the sunlight.

A: anyone know a good place to choose from many shades of dress belts that are not going to break the bank?

B: can I wear a black belt in a formal business setting (corporate job interview) with these boots considering I am already probably nearing the line by wearing boots at all?

I seriously doubt a black belt with a charcoal suit and those boots is going to raise any eyebrows.

What industry and is the interview in Texas?

Interview I am beginning to prepare for is in NorCal. The company I am currently with is in Texas and converted to snappy casual from business dress code at their corporate office so I have not had to wear suits when going there anymore the last few years. I'm in the digital dept but working remote and will likely either be moving postitions internally or moving on. New lead potential industry is local to me-mortgage in corporate, though I may widen search depending. I will certainly be interviewing in either case.

I needed at least one good suit regardless because the last three I bought now fit like they belong to someone else which I discovered after going to a wedding this summer.

Thanks for the tip on the black belt being acceptable.
