Pocket squares are ze best. I prefer simpler ones like the two on the left since that is more my style. Though may try some more brightly colored/patterned ones in the future. I'm a fan of the white ones with colored borders. Peter Millar had a full set a few seasons ago that I totally noobed and didn't get.

Me too. Most times I wear a pocket square it's a simple one

Definitely. I really like his cufflinks as well. I picked up this pair.

I have a pair in brown. They're sleek and awesome, but if you're looking for a rugged boot, this one's probably not it. Great boots regardless.

The advice I was given on designer jeans was "avoid relaxed, bootcut, and any other weird fit."

I'm not a huge fan of the "pre-ripped" look, but it's not awful I guess.

I actually kind of like the look of these:

The ES Fultons would probably be a safe pick in terms of cut. You can sometimes find them on sale for under $100.

5EP Low down boots would be good for you too.

I dont think bootcut is a weird fit. it can be slimming for a bigger guy like me, as long as the jeans fit well in the thigh/ass area.

I think some pre-distressing is fine, when it looks the jeans aren't brand new, etc

I got Bootcut in Melbourne. I don't like the upper thigh distressing on the Dusseldorf, the huge contrast on the Big Sur, the rips on Havana, etc

Thank you guys for the opinions. I think I am with you Manque that the toes are kind of ugly.

I am mainly looking for a shoe I can wear to work (business casual) and that I can wear to salsa dancing classes. If the shoes I picked are no good, does anyone have suggestions?

What kind of dress shirt would you recommend for going out to a nightclub? I have a few old plain dress shirts but haven't bought anything new recently. Anything new in style? I'm in Canada if that helps at all with stores/places to look.

Depends on what look you are going for. I am pretty conservative and will just rock jeans with a normal stripped or checked dress shirt.

If you are looking for club type shirts though, there are a ton of brands that have the shiny looking shirts without the additional length in front and back that are designed to be worn untucked to clubs.

I need a few recs for nice jeans that would work for me. I do a lot of weight lifting and squating and from that I have a pretty big ass and some thick thighs, which obv makes it harder to find nice jeans. A brand that I typically buy is something like buffalo, as I have found some of their lines to fit me decently without smashing my boys around or feeling like im wearing tights. Is there anything else that someone in my situation or so would be able to recommend?

Btw, I'm 6'0 and have a 34" waist if that helps at all.

I was 6'5" and 220 and wear a 36" or 38" waist and was 245 a year ago. I have a pair of the relaxed dark wash selvage jean that I absolutely love for the $100 price.

Edit: Looks like the jean isn't available anymore, but I do recommend BR for cheap, fit big legs and relatively stylish.

Not sure about this, but for great non-custom shoes check out Alden's and as a second choice Allen Edmunds. More expensive initially, but I have had leather ones for 4 years with 3 resolings and the total cost per wear is less than "cheaper" shoes. I don't own any cordovan pairs, but my Dad has a 20 year old pair that have been resoled 5 times and still look great.
