Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things

This was great. It's like a documentary version of Fight Club minus the fighting. Just the message about not wasting your life despertely grasping for **** you don't need.

The Roosevelts

I know this is probably like telling a Movie thread to go watch 'The Godfather', but I've just finished it and am blown away.

Only two episodes in, but really enjoying A&E's the Killing Season. Very creepy, and especially interesting if you're from the tri-state area. Little bit worried that I'll be let down by the season's ending though.

Valley Uprising was one easily one of my favourite films I've seen this year, and one of the most enjoyable documentaries I've ever seen.

"Four Finnish cave divers face their worst nightmare when two of their friends drown deep inside an underwater cave in Norway. When the official recovery operation is called off by the Norwegian and British authorities after being deemed too risky, the friends set out on a secret mission to retrieve the bodies themselves."

6 episodes into The Killing Season. It's getting more interesting with each ep imo.

Truck stop hooker is not a good career path.

Really enjoyed The Eagle Huntress.

"The documentary presents the real-life story of a 13-year-old Kazakh girl from Mongolia named Aisholpan attempting to be the first female eagle hunter in her country."

+1 to Sour Grapes. Also on Netflix the Barkley Marathons

In its first 25 years only 10 people have finished The Barkley Marathons. Based on a historic prison escape, this cult like race tempts people from around the world to test their limits of physical and mental endurance in this documentary that contemplates the value of pain.
