Sicko. Nothing sweeter than knowing right off your hands its got a shot to go in. Careful though, hitting your first ace is like smoking crack, your gonna be chasing that feeling around the courses for years!

Bonus Hole B: Par 3 270' Extreme elevation

That's a huge church at the bottom of the hill.

I threw an anny with a Pro Starfire and it S curved and landed about 20 behind the basket

Missed my birdie, but the hole was so sweet. I ****ing ripped it and it seemed to fly forever despite maybe only going 300'.

Congrats on your ace Snaggle! I'm still waiting for mine.

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

i've worked on my backhand but don't think i will ever come close to being able to throw it as far as my forehand. i grew up playing tennis and have been into bowling and table tennis so the forehand is much more natural. i can even crush my backhand with my tomahawks. so basically just use it for putts and holes that are short and not good shots for the forehand. anyways it sucks and i am about to give up and just settle with forehands forever
also can someone link me up with a decent bag i can use forever

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

I have used my Revolution Bag for years. They are great bags, and will last a good long time. The internal frame has worn holes through the bottom of many of my friends bags, however. If you get one I might try and figure a way to pad the bottom of the frame to try and prevent this from happening (while trying to avoid things that would stay wet and mold).

An old friend of mine owns this company. I have not gotten one of his bags yet but have used his straps since I since I started competing, they are a staple for most serious disc golfers. A few of my friends have his bags and they love them. There is an option to get the bottom of the bag line-x truck bed lined which adds serious durability (and only a little bit of weight).

There was a bag I saw at pro-worlds this year that was just sick if you carry a ton of discs. I don't remember the name (fail), but you probably could find it if you look hard enough. It had expandable sections on either side, and internal frame like a serious backpack, and the couple of guys that had it were extremely happy with its performance. Drawback: I believe it had a cost of 225-300 dollars. My jaw hit the ground when I heard this, but as I said it seemed to be an amazing piece of equipment.

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

Nice thread, I used to play a lot with my friends but have stopped a little bit now for no particular reason.. I think the most unlikely thing ever happened to me on a drive out.

This was the first thing I saw. We are like what is this trickery? :O

And this is the deal, wtf? how did it manage to lodge itself between a twinned electric lighting cable for the running track? so crazy.

It was quite the ordeal to get it down :/

That's a sick line! lol

I guess it wasn't too windy that day which was good for your round.

How did you get it down?

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

I threw from the Pro Tees for my first time on any course yesterday.

Finished +10 ( I tripped bogey #2 and #17 arrgh!)

http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2645

Course Info is above, it plays 7,720 ft total in length.

Beforehand, my friend was ragging me about throwing from the pro tee boxes.

"You shouldn't throw from the pro's unless you can get it to the middle right of the fairway." [pointing to a spot]

I teed off and snapped a Star Excalibur forehand straight as day about 300'.

Anyone get out and play recently? Any sick putts or sweet drives?

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

played yesterday when the ground still had about 50% ice coverage. made for a high penalty of failure for missing putts, and there were some sweet skip shots

look forward to playing in a few inches of snow

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

I feel sorry for you guys, I'm going out to play a round now in sunny 60 degree weather.

Dedicating the first bird to 2+2 dg'ers

Happy New Year

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

just disc golfed in maui yesterday at a pretty sweet course. could be excellent if they maintained it more / proper signage / pads, but it was still a cool place w/ nice elevation and tropical **** everywhere

big difference from the last round i played which was an ice bowl in kentucky in 25 mph winds and sleet. was my first tourney and i finished 9th in intermediate after playing poorly. was nice to see with some solid rounds and rungood i could pretty feasibly win one tho

Re: Disc Golf/Frolf!!!

my brother is interested in playing this for fun occasionally on weekend. Would this be a good present or is it a rip off?
