The Edmund audio is pretty brutal. Not a fan of his or Ronda's but feel bad for him when he's screaming towards the end.
12-31-2016 , 10:21 AM
Feeling bad for Edmund is lame. That guy is bad at his job borderline criminal and definitely deserve to lose everything.
12-31-2016 , 10:23 AM
He managed to destroy a few fighters carriers. They have their responsibility for getting fooled by him but that's still terrible.
12-31-2016 , 11:08 AM
pissy,

Keep in mind Edmund claimed (to the IRS) to have no money while not only managing the most successfully MMA star in history (at the time) but also after having bragged about winning six figure bets from her fights.

He's absolutely using Ronda to further his own interests at the detriment of her career. That's a ****ty thing to do as a coach, let alone a supposed friend. The scream you hear is a scumbag ludomaniac realizing he doesn't have her to leech off of anymore.

pissy was disappointed for hans zimmer at the end of die hard
12-31-2016 , 11:22 AM
I feel sorry for the baby that Ronda has an excuse to postpone returning to fighting.

Disagree. Tate tapped to Nunes when the RNC wasn't under the chin and definitely wasn't locked in near tight enough to break her jaw. She could breathe and she tapped. She should retire. At least Ronda keeps trying when she gets hurt. Tate tapped to Ronda's 2nd armbar in one of their fights when it wasn't locked in too: her arm wasn't even hyperextended. Ironic because she let her forearm pop on the first armbar attempt Ronda ever got her with. A painful lesson maybe? Then, she lost a decision after fighting poorly- so she retired. I don't think she has the toughness or resolve of an Olympic athlete or a lot of other fighters, like Nunes. Her only attribute is her grappling. I think she's basically a weekend warrior

it's not that she ignored her grappling, she never learned to box

"You said something to her corner. What was that?"
"She think she a boxer. He put it in her head. She have great Judo, but he puts this crazy thing in her head like she good boxer. Why he do that?"

It probably goes without saying but Ronda left the arena a couple hours ago, so no post-fight questions for her. Kinda fitting that Ronda got slept by two of the nicest people in the division. Nunes, though, is hilariously blunt, but that's probably due to speaking English as a second language. She's like a happy go lucky Khabib.

EDIT:

"How much money will you get for this fight?"
"I think a lot."

Jesus. MMA reporting is ****ing embarrassing sometimes.
I don't get it, what's so "nice" about Nunes? She seems like she has serious anger issues.

Just waiting for a positive test.

She beat the brakes off Ronda. That was pretty nice.
12-31-2016 , 12:34 PM
Fair play to Grandma, soild tactics lasted way longer than I would have thought.

What exactly are you disagreeing with? Tate has come back from fights she was losing or taking a beating in more than once. Ronda went on to lose exactly how I predicted she might in the post you quoted. Tate's nose was demolished by Nunez at the beginning of the first round and she still made it to the second round. Rousey looked like one of those videos of the tough guy off the street challenging an mma fighter at their gym after Internet **** talking who had never been hit before. She was clearly out of the fight after the first few punches she ate.

I feel like I'm being trolled here.

I'm disagreeing with your assessment that "Ronda seems on the opposite end of the heart spectrum from Tate."

Ronda is terrible. As far as her combat sports record, her pedigree is far more impressive than Tate's. Ronda is a successful olympic athlete in a combat sport. Olympic level combat sports are just as hard as MMA, and have a much deeper pool of competition. We're talking about the biggest sports competition in the history of humanity. Children in every country in the world in every sport aspire to do what she did. Tate, on the other hand, is a totally chill chick who is good at grappling, has lost nearly 1/3 her fights, and briefly held a belt in an ultra soft MMA division.

As far as Tate's fighting spirit, not giving up after your nose is broken doesn't make you a fighter. Children on the street can do that. I did that before I even knew how to fight. She tapped twice when she didn't have to: game over. Then she threw in the towel TWO FIGHTS after being champion because she got stopped and then lost a decision. She doesn't have the heart of a true champion and she knows it. She KNOWS she quit against Nunes. Why humiliate herself again?

Ronda never gave up against anyone. She charged in on Holm until her body failed her. If anything she has too much heart and not enough sense

I didn't say Tate was a better fighter. I was using the term heart, which is not a really definable, to say that Tate has shown she can take a beating in a fight and come back in a dangerous and effective way where it does not appear rousey can. Also, rousey is more emotionally fragile outside of the cage in the lead up to the fight and seems to be unable to function at all after losses. This is what I was talking about. If heart is the wrong word for what I am trying to describe, okay--but if you disagree with those two simple points then yes, we see it very differently.

Thank ****ing god the judges got Magny vs. Hendricks right. I so hope the UFC just cuts his fat lay-n-pray ass. Absolute most boring fighter in the organization right now.

Does Cruz need to fight like a Lineker or Caraway or does he just fight the winner of TJ vs. Cody?

Some really bad "hot takes" on this page. I'm too drunk to be specific but I probably disagree with more of the last 20 post than I agree with.
