Rush and division caters more to old rich men who are looking for young hotties. The scenery during the summer is quite something else.
Hunt club on rush street used to be a haven for cougars, but not as much lately.

You might want to go to the suburbs for cougars. That's where the divorcees live. Maybe the Schaumburg bars.

Maybe my judgment was swayed by how sick awesome our appetizers were. Seriously, go try their grilled mushrooms app and tell me it isn't God's gift to humanity.

Yeah, Schaumburg has quite a few.
Also, to the person that said Naperville. Makes total sense to me that there would be a ton of cougars there too.

Re: Chicago: Your favorite things to do or places to go
For cougars downtown, try hotel bars. Focus on women who are in town for business or for a "girls shopping weekend." They like to meet guys from the city. You can also target the bars around the theatres when the musicals let out (Wicked, Dirty Dancing, etc.). My friends and I have had success at the Hyatt on Wacker ("the big bar"), Encore in Hotel Allegro on Randolph, W Hotel (Adams, not Lake Shore Drive). Strike up a conversation and ask them where they are from and what they are doing in Chicago. Buy them a martini or two and offer to show them the non-touristy part of Chicago.

am a big fan of rezas and hopleaf (esp since they're like 2 blocks from me), but i'm pretty sure the best mac and cheese in the city is at kuma's corner.

Please "RSVP" in this thread. I hope we get 5-10 people. I'd feel weird sitting there with one other dude.

The gf and I are East Coasters now living in Ann Arbor, and we might be in Chicago this weekend. If so, we would definitely be in. Sorry I can't commit further than that (yet) as a couple friends haven't gotten back letting us know if they've got a place for us to stay! Will let you know.

Gah.
Friends are out of town, and the Chicago marathon is in town, making it tough to find reasonably priced accommodations. I think we're just gonna hang out in Ann Arbor, drink beer, and watch college football. Enjoy the pizza. Post pics!

You guys mentioning Reza's and Hopleaf in the same sentence must be high! Hopleaf is pure awesomeness. Reza's is ok, but I can't really understand why it was mentioned here. If you want Middle Eastern food, go to Albany Park imo.
That said, Cit speaks the truth about Kuma's mac and cheese. The mac and cheese at Smoque is pretty awesome as well, but just a side. Smoque... mmmmmmmmmm.
