Did you miss the part where he said he wanted growlers? Yes, the can line does die down, but the growler line on a day like this 100% won't.

I met cans and growlers. I'm usually in and out in an hour on Thurs if I go at 7.

Place is jamming.

Some poor sap drove 4 hours for Julius and doubleshot, even though the site said limited, and that they were low on growlers. He's leaving with one growler of Green and 8 cans. No way that's worth it.

damn, that's crazy. if you're driving 4 hours don't know why you wouldn't at least get close to the 4 growler limit by picking up two 2l's of lights. pretty much a perfect beer for day drinking this weekend at 5.6%, and lets you hold off on cracking the cans.

They ran out of 2Ls too. And the trailbreaker kicked. Ended up getting 2 growlers of Green, one of MA, and 8 cans.

I still haven't had Green. My day will come. I had a growler of Ma and it was ok. Prob my least fav TH beer that I've tried. I really like Lights On though. It's a great juicy pale and from what I've heard it has gotten better with each batch.

I though fortunate islands was really good, though. Tastes like a light IPA with bright citrus flavors, nice and hoppy, just a bit of bitterness. It's 4.8%, so a great easy drinking beer that I think is way better than most of the sessions I've tried.

$10.99/4-pack 16oz cans.
Thanks, I'll be moving back to Minnesota in a week so I probably won't be getting my hands on some for a while

really? they had just tweeted today that they'd have plenty of 2L's for this week. Green is awesome, by the way. my favorite Tree House beer.

in SF, just hit up Toronado. great place. maybe the best selection of IPA's I've ever seen on draft. I had a couple Pliny, Blazing World, they also had Alpine, and Stone Enjoy By was about the 5th most attractive beer on the list.

the prize though was the Cable Car bottle from The Lost Abbey. most expensive bottle I've ever bought ($60) but it costs waaaaay more than that on black market sites and I had a buzz already so I plopped down my 3 $20's (cash only bar) figuring this was the best chance I'll ever have to try it. cool drinking this in the bar the label copy references; also it's a really nice beer. nicely tart, not overwhelmingly in any way, just really nice and refreshing.

Green for me. Up there for my favorite beer. I got impatient and cracked the growler last night, so figured I had to finish it today. So took it to the beach.

Still one left.

Kbz,

Toronado is great. What else is on your SF agenda?

Malice: boneyard white knuckle is awesome, would be top of my list. I love alpine duet, but it's just really good not necessarily that unique or anything. Victory at sea is excellent. I've never had it, but have heard only great things about yeti

Kc: where is that?

i'll put this up against any of the new england beers everyone seems to love. Grapefruit Jungle from Sun King in Indy. Probably my favorite beer, just wish it was around more than a month or 2 in the summer.
