Have not been to Gunshow yet (it opened a week ago), but it's pretty close to me so the gf and I should head over in the next couple weeks.
Finally made it to Chai Pani in Decatur (Indian street food mixed with Southern) and it was unbelievable. The okra fries are their signature item for a reason.
Also spent a few nights on Edgewood at Mother and Joystick. You've gotta be okay with hipsters and in a certain mood to enjoy this, but if you're in that mood it's fantastic. Great drinks a rotating food menus at Joystick (plus 25c games of NBA Jam, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Bad Dudes, and Rampage among others) and a fun dance floor, great food space, and awesome patio all mashed into one at Mother.
