First listen and I like it a lot, but it's another in a long line freshman albums that aren't really much better than their mixtape work. At this point I am hoping Freddie Gibbs or Jay Electronica to actually deliver a classic for their first album.

New Neil Young is streaming now. Its covers of classics like My Clementine, and Oh Susannah.

Divine Fits trailer above. If you don't know, Handsome Furs (Dan Boeckner from Wolf Parade) broke up and Boeckner and Britt Daniel (Spoon) started a new band, Divine Fits.

Part of me finds this incredibly pretentious (a trailer for a song/album by a band that has never played a show or released any material) and part of me is giddy like a schoolgirl. Hoping they'll sound like a cross between The Ghost of You Lingers and anything from Sound Kapital.

just saw the commercial and was like "hmm, sounds like Beach House..."

hope they get paid over this, that's pretty bad to rip them off like that, especially after you try to license their song for the commercial and get rejected.
