do you think it can be +EV to sit in a high stakes game that you're real uncomfortable in, just b/c of depths of stacks, if the lineup is right???

this was basically my entire time at 2/5 in Vegas as we were always 2k+ deep w/ some crazies at the table, and I just fell back into this 12/10ish type of game.,

your 50nl curse sounds equivalent to my 10nl curse. i play fine on 2nl-50nl but 10nl i always have to push through at <5bb/100. what do you think helps you through your tough limit?

1. How tall are you?
2. Favorite drink (dunno if it's been asked already, alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
3. Have you heard of zA.Akrobatik (WC3 Orc player? He was my roommate in college, and still one of my good friends).
4. Have anything in your database on RivrMeADream? He's a buddy of mine too that plays 200NL.

Thanks for the previous replies. One thing that remains to be answered is:

I have 200 dollars in my account (Yes, a 10 dollar improvement from yesterday

) and as I mentioned before I want to start playing cashgames... what am I rolled for? 5/10c or should I still start at 1/2c games(Basically dedicate 50bucks to cashgames or the full roll?)? Full ring or 6max? Always buy-in for max? (5$ on the 1/2c games)

What do you plan to do with life "after" poker?

Is it possible for someone to not be busto IRL if they play a ton of -EV games (pit games)

Planning on doing any travelling this year? (vacations/live poker tournaments?)

And my last question:

I skipped it. But probably what helps is reducing tables and posting hands/thinking about hands constantly. When you think you have a wall, you almost create it for yourself. Having the mindset of, man here i have bottom set, here comes the cooler, ah man i knew he had mid set. etc etc is not productive and isnt optimal. Stay positive.

5/10c and if you drop like 5 bi move down. WAYYYY Too many players, especially in this forum, end up being ridiculously too nitty at the micros. Imo at under nl 100 there is no reason to not be taking 20 buyin shots unless you feel your game is terrible, but in that case you shouldnt even be playing as much as analyzing and posting hands. Way too many of you guys hurt your potential/limit your hourly by being major nits about the limits you are playing. If you drop 1/4 your roll its just not a big deal move down and rebuild. Micros are supposed to be stepping stones not plateaus.

FR/6m is your personal preference man.
