Firstly, 25/7 isn't a decent tag...it's a passive fish. This is confirmed by him merely limping in the SB.

The turn either gave him some sort of trips (A2s perhaps), a boat (77-88), or he was slowplaying a hit flush (numerous). Either way, this doesn't look like a hand you can get away from without having reads.

If you're beat, it's by a bigger boat or quads so I'm guessing villain had 88 or 77. If I had to bet on it, I'd say 77.

Edit: I just watched this back on the replayer and it shows you folded. I think folding is pretty bad there. Just my opinion though.

I wouldn't fold this. What beats you?

    8x. 77

    What do you beat?

Any weird 2. 7x.. Any dumb pocket pair. Any random bluff. Any flopped flush.

I think you are ahead here most of the time.

He would call/slow-play the flush on the non-paired flop. He'd call an 8. He might even call his set if he has 7s, but why not c/r if he's as TAG as you say.

I'd call and laugh if I lost with a 27 boat.

I'd likely raise Turn but can understand a call if it's with the intention of trying to keep MP in (who's stack size looks fishy). Even so, I think I prefer a Turn raise as, if MP is fishy, we could even see cold-calls from him with, say, Adx.

    Also, bigger on the flop.

As played, rivers a bit meh but I'm calling and not beating myself up too much if we're beat. I wouldn't expect him to take this line with, say, 8x too often so if that is true, we're beat by literally just 1 combo of 88 and 1 combo of 77.
