SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K Q

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN raises to 10 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 7 BB

Flop: (21.5 BB, 2 players) 4 5 Q
Hero checks, BTN bets 14.3 BB, Hero calls 14.3 BB

Turn: (50.1 BB, 2 players) 4

Hero?

V is a Chinese Aggro, or so it seems.

In the previous hand villain also 3b me pre and folded to my 4bet. In my head, in this hand, I was kinda expecting V to 3b again, just a feeling, also because I've been opening rather wide from CO and BTN and he seems to be adjusting in the last few rounds.

I don't see a reason to fold villain could be barreling all diamond draws, some TT/99 type hands to get value from your draws etc. can't say we're beat just yet.

I wanted to see where I was at and took this line :

Hero bets 28 BB, BTN calls 28 BB

River: (106.1 BB, 2 players) 3

Now what?

Check again. Call again. Collect money x% of the time, lose to better x% of the time.

Yeah I checked/call river assuming that he would shove missed draws, bluffs as well as good hands. He showed up with AA.

Can untag hand as "bad hand" though apparently, as I seem to have taken an ok line.

Nice to see you still here Mzbourg

Are we just check calling assuming he's bluffing? Our hand by the river is really only a bluff catcher. He probably has a made hand on the flop. I wouldn't be surprised if he has AA, KK, or AQ here. He could also take this line with 45 or 55. If he had a lower pocket pair I believe he would likely slow down, which he hasn't. In order for our call here to be good we have to assume he would bet 3 streets with an under pair or a worse Q. Thoughts?

With this kind of hand, I really only desire for showdown value so pot control is nice and bluff catchers are good because people show up with all kinds of nonsense if they see that you are passive. The thing is if you bet this turn, and regardless of what you do, villain can and will put you in a uncomfortable spot, and failing that, the river can as well.

As you can see on the river, the pot is more than 100bb huge!

For me the river will depend on villain. Namely: Would be put in a 3rd bet with AQ for value? If he's capable, I'd fold river. If not, his value range is just too small and if we're folding KQ here, villains are just going to triple barrel all sorts of nonsense against us.
