Flop (3.30) 2 5 6
UTG checks, HERO bets 3.20, MP raises to 6.40, 2 folds

Is this an 'obvious' fold or am i just being too much of a girl? Lately (okay - always) I been getting burnt overplaying hands like a total maniac, so i'm trying to be more cautious.

Is the way i played this hand sensible or just pathetic?

why did you fold? Or more direclty what do you think villians holdings were?

Sorry, should've explained. I thought it was either a set or he also had an overpair to the board (but probably lower than mine). This is why i'm not sure about folding.

uggh I hate these spots against unknowns. He could very well be raising with 77-TT but I also see sets min raised a lot. I would probably shove and note what he min raises with, but I wouldn't mind folding either.

There was something about how quickly he called my PFR that bothered me too. It just seemed like a Pocket Pair. Oddly enough, if i had checkd and he had bet - i would have shoved. As i said i'm trying to be more cautious because i have real aggression issues.

I don't think QQ is likely as he may have reraise, but I included it also

Thanks for that - looks like i was too cautious. I just thought that the min raise on the flop was more likely to be a set than an overpair (even allowing for the fact that there are more ways to hold an overpair).

Do you think this is true?
