Re: red line very down

Most FR players have declining red lines, even some big winners. Its all about the green line.

It's hard to determine what you're doing wrong over a smallish sample. But as Mart said, nearly every FR player has a negative redline.

It all depends how good you are/comfortable you are post flop. Tiny things in your stats, like folding to 3bets a little too much, or cbetting too much and giving up, are all things that will make your redline decrease slowly. It's not something that you can change overnight.

Don't worry to much about your red line. It's very standard tbh.

Agreed with above. If you look in COTW mpethybridge has an amazing COTW on red line.

As a quick fix, I'd suggest picking more spots to 3bet vs steals on SB. I am sure there are many people who steal 50% and folds 85% to resteal. There are regs that I literally 3bet 50% against in the blinds and they still fold to me.

Re: red line very down

completely disagree with everyone above. it might be standard to have a decreasing redline but it is not standard to have one at a rate of -5ptbb and improving to say -2-(-3) ptbb will show a huge increase to your winrate (and still with a "standard" losing red line)

Post us your red line without the blinds (exclude small blind and big blind positions)

this is dependant on the changes you make to improve your redline having no effect on your blue line, are you saying that anyone with a -10bb redline can improve it without harming their blue line by as much to improve their win rate?

no, of course not but if your red line is massively losing (-10bb) it can definitely be done. if you were at -3bb and watned to move to b/e it would be much tougher. Also like 90% of your hands come nonshowdown (like 75% of th etime you see a flop + w/e % of the time you raise pre and take it down) so changes in this will affect you drastically and quickly.

Re: red line very down

stop playing 12/9 w/ a 3.3% 3B and your red line will improve

I have always had a decreasing red line and have been a large winner.

Rather than worrying about the red line at this stage, work on other aspects of your game. Opening up preflop and finding profitable situations postflop will slowly but surely fix the sharp decreasing redline

i play 12/10 with a 3% 3bet and lose at non-SD by 2bb/100.
